Exactly! I feel the same way - so glad to have found another channel like mine that just puts up photos and video with great music. Makes me feel like I'm there.
The picture at 3:59 is (to me) compositionally stunning. I would've maybe tried to give the girls in the top left a bit more room or cut her out (since she's looking out of frame) but that might've messed up other aspects of the image.
Thank you for your compliment and input Erik! I did not crop this photo so I couldn’t give her any more room, and I liked that she is looking out of the frame so I did not crop her out :)
Alex. I feel very comfortable whenever I visit your room. I have acknowledged what is street photography from your work and I should thank you for the chance which you have allowed me to rest with your performance. You may call me Don.
At that time, Paris was packed with people. So, I was not drawing much attention to myself even when I was very obviously photographing people up close. Also, after few days of photographing in Paris, I got brave enough to keep getting close to people. Many people were on vacation themselves, so they just smiled when they caught me photographing them. This also eased my mind, so I kept at it.
My first time on your channel and I looveed this. The pictures, the audio, the atmosphere you created. It is almost as being transported to a fall day in France! My favourite shots are 0:391:212:232:39 but credsss to you too for the videos. I always get surprised about how people multitask this thing of taking pictures and taking videos for such videos like this one. How do you do it? I either go all out at taking pictures, or videos, either all out at thinking like a photographer or like a cinematographer hahah. Anywayy I am definitely subscribing! :)
Wow Amal, thank you! I am very happy this video had that effect on you. For this video, the videography and photography was done on separate days. For the rest of the video I have uploaded, I did videography and photography together. As I shoot more video and photos, I am starting to see what would make a better video instead of photo and vice versa. Thank you for the sub!
@@AlexKimPhoto aaah truee you mentioned in the video that it was on separate days! my bad lool But that isss such a good way of seeing it "does this make a good video, or photo?" That enlightened things for me lol so thanks for the tip :))
@@its4m4L oh you are always welcome! I think video by its nature always has context. So even seemingly dull moment turns into a story. Photo does not have this advantage, so somewhat of a significant event or decisive moment has to come into play! At least that is what I learned through my experience. Hope this helps!
Oh boy. Now i really want to be in paris with my film camera.

The storytelling is amazing, both from the photos and clips. I also like that lens (vintage I presume) you used to film.

It's incredible how photographs (and video clips that feel like moving photographs) can make you feel like you can *_feel_* a place. Excellent work.

how to photograph strangers on the street? do you ask for permission or just simply shoots?
I just simply shoot. It is a genre called street photography! :)
@@AlexKimPhoto don't people get rattled when they see a stranger photographing them?
