I love the elves's theme. Has that "swarm of wasps" feeling. When you get out of the desert and it hits you with that Duuuuuun nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh... so good.
Not much is known about Alfheim in the myth. The name means "Elf Home" or "Land of the Elves". In the Poetic Edda, in a story where Odin is explaining the places where the gods live to a young prince, he says: "Alfheim the gods gave to Freyr in bygone days as tooth-gift" A tooth-gift is a gift given to a child when it gets its first tooth. In the Prose Edda, when Snorri is explaining about the "places in heaven", he claims: "There is one place called Alfheim. There live folk called Light-elves." And that's it. That's all we get. The Elves themselves have little information as well. Snorri says they are "More beautiful than the Sun", although this could be him interpreting them as angels in his christian world-view because in the bible says Angels are 7 times prettier than the Sun. Another thing we know is that elves are always close to the gods. The phrase "How are the gods, how are the elves?" Shows up here and there in viking poetry. Elves also live "in the heavens" with the gods, so it seems they are god-like beings, and have a higher status than the dwarfs, who are never stated to live in the heavens or live among gods. At one point they are associated with craftsmanship and being great blacksmiths, which is weird because this is a dwarf quality. That happens in the poem about Völunder. He is said to be "the prince of elves" and crafts jewelry out of human skulls and eyes. The myth of the Elf evolves after the viking age , and they start being defined as invisible spirits that live among humans, and can cause sickness, seduce humans, and even rape them.
Alva is my favorite music from alfheim, but from this video i have to choose 33:59, which is similar, and i belive is when they escape from there. Now there are only helheim and nilfheim suite left. I dont think there is much to do in nilfheim, but a helheim one would be cool

"Guðs plága
Ég syndir ber
Blóðs bölvun
Óbætanleg..."
Ok but what does that mean
@TalenkauenTV It's about Kratos and Atreus. Where ever they go problems develop. And nothing can get rid of them.

One I can’t seem to find is Faye’s theme where she appears in Kratos dream before Ragnarök happens.
So…a request is what I’m asking. 😅
