The vines did grow on the answer because on the one where it was showing you it only has those sets of vines that I put down
Dan, you can make the ender dragon head move by placing a block of redstone next to it so they touch, or underneath it, not quite sure if it would work if you would place the redstone block above the head.

the dragon head actually open and closes its mouth in 1.9 if you put it on the lab wall and put a lever next to it and it will work just like in this map

yes it is whenever a dragon head it's powered by Redstone up or anything that can power redstone it's mouth opens and closes
