What makes this game scary is the fact that , by putting yourself in Cash's position , you realize it's a life or death situation. If you don't think and act fast , you'd be dead before you know it.
It's a survival game. About 7 years ago my elder brother played it and my dad deleted it because of the violence chopping off heads and then throwing it for lures. Now I play this game although it's old I still love it

I remember playing this back in the day, trying not to use Gamefaqs on my first playthrough. It's a bit of a guessing game as to how you're supposed to lure Piggsy, and that the chainsaw has a stealth kill, and that you should just bumrush Starkweather instead of trying to sneak around on him.

I feel like they should eventually set a GTA in Carcer. And the nice thing is that what we saw of it in Manhunt is so generic looking that it could literally be anywhere in the midwest or northeast that shitty neighborhoods and a subway system. I think they had either multiple cities in mind when they designed it, or nowhere in particular in mind, but now they can actually focus on one place to make it into.

1. Piggsy is a awesome boss fight.
2. You get to take the last few hunters down.
3. It is very satisfying to see Cash finally get revenge on the evil people who tormented him and killed his family (especially Starkweather’s death).
I’m Talking about how satisfying Starkweather’s death is.
And tortured him too.
Killing someone by cutting off their wrists already makes this the best mission

Believe it or not, if you cheat using trainers to make you have the chainsaw immediately, Piggsy will actually run away.
Fun fact right before Cash got "hired" by starkweather he got Piggsy chained up in the attic, and making Piggsy eat the bodies that he killed when he was "acting" for his uncle Starkweather, so that there would be no evidence that could get Starkweather arrested and he would do the same thing, with the people that cash killed but didnt have the time to make it happen no wonder that Piggsy was so fat, i read that Piggsy killed at least 50 people maybe up to 100 over a certain time period no wonder he wanted revenge.
The story goes that Starkweather got piggsy chained up in the attic because he felt that Piggsy got too "excited" with killing people, he didnt follow orders so he decided to "hire" someone new wich turned out to be Cash a convicted criminal, Cash had to do what Starkweather told him or the cerberus would shoot him the most sick part is that Starkweather fed Piggsy, the people that Piggsy killed so that there were no evidence that could get Starkweather arrested and he was going to do the same thing with the people that Cash killed.
I read that the events in manhunt takes place the same year as gta san Andreas (1992), one theory is that it takes place at the same time as CJ is traveling around "working"
The death of Lionel Starkweather is one of the most gruesome deaths I've seen in a video game.

The eerie this about this game is how the game just ends like that. It cuts right to a news segment and you don’t hear anything about what happens Cash.
I really like that about it. It's very open ended and refuses to provide the audience any catharsis

Piggsy is without a doubt the most disturbing character I've ever saw in a game. Do you know why? Because he is a naked and totally crazy man who wears a pig's head as a mask and REALLY thinks he is a pig. Also he talks like a kid and was locked in Starkweather's basement who knows for how long. Well, this is totally realistic and can happen! Rockstar did an amazing job with this game.

the funniest quote in the game
I remember hiding in the shadows for a while, then as soon as I stepped out Piggsy appeared and started chasing. It gave me an insane amount of chills at the time. Probably the scariest moment I've ever had in a game.
This game was so brutal but it was a great masterpiece
This scene shows the true horrors of the whole entire game, a cannibalistic obese man wearing a real pig head over his head while slaughtering his victims with a chainsaw and completely lost connection with reality and society, and keeping bodies and other body parts around where he was chained up. This is a lot scarier than dealing with those Smileys who were really psychotic and a bunch of loonies but not like Piggsy.
This needs a remake

Check out the beta version. There are several animations that were for some reason left out for the final game that I think should've happened.

It had the same dark atmosphere and plot like Manhunt, people even had to temporarily quit gaming after this title to recover psychically after everything that this game had to present

The part where he gets betrayed doesn't make any sense as it lacks clear motivation. Honestly Manhunt 1 story is better because you're typically just a simple man desperately trying to survive a mad house full of lunatics and that simple objective builds up a realistic horror feel more than 2 ever does. 2's story was flat out childish and pointless thriller it is only a good game for autistic people who have some sort of pornographic Gore fetish with piss poor standards of a good horror story.
