when they rushed through this one, it loses its power. When they bathe in this song's blood, as they definitely do here and keep it to a trance, then the magic and power and devastation of Tropics is unleashed. The backing vocals while Carl and Jim do the 6th string Kashmirisms and that oooooohhhh so goddddamn heavy chord before Jim's leads.....may god have mercy on our souls. this is mixed so well.

@@garrettmunz wonderful can lose its power anywhere at anytime. A flat song that isn't among their best at all. I'll take Strangulation or Even Thank You Too any day over that one. They Ran is amazing too.
@@LSUOdyssey I agree completely. It's a timing of the moment that makes all songs like Wonderful just magical or middle of the road. I don't think I have too much live experiences with MMJ but the one's that I have been to have all been magical in their own way. One of my favorite Jim performances was when he was on the "get out and vote" tour with Benjamin Booker. It was only an hour long but it was righteous.

At Dawn building up and crashing into The Waterfall was a real moment at that show. I remember Mahgeetah being particularly punchy that night too! Closed the main set with a real bang
