If you are not a person that is meticulous, then you won't have a problem even if you go back a fe generations of this series. They can not really update anything anymore. I mean it is a tablet. It is a bit faster, battery screen quality bla bla. The changes are not a major thing either. So, go for the cheaper one. If you say you have an excess of money go for the expensive one
