Seem is Val papadi in Gujarat and is very common and widely used. Certain varieties of papadi are used to make Undhiyu.

Broad beans in English and Avarakkai in Tamil. Very common in south India. It grows very easily, its a vine/creeper plant.

Hi Suchi, that geen veggie is known as 'papdi' in gujarat. It is very famous veggie, iski sabzi aloo tomato k sath bahut achi lagti hai.
Seem is Val papdi in Maharashtra and is very common

Cheem is called Papdi in Mumbai atleast. I live in London and here we have some Bangla markets and they have amazing huge cheem here jo meri Dida Kolkata me actually khilati thi.. i miss Didar’ khawa really. 😊
For “shim”, in Gujarat, we called it “Valol”. We make it with baigan(small eggplant) and Garlic.
It's very common in Gujarat. This is Val papdi. Othet variety of Papdi is Surti Papdi. Very famous gujarati Subji called UNDHIYU is made out surti papdi.
Curry leaves can be stored for very long time by shallow frying it in very little oil, cool it and it becomes crisp and tastes yum...

Just give good sunlight for monestra, water the plant when the upper layer of the soil is very dry. Keep it that plant opposite to any window, it will give new leaves.

Hamare Yaya baal papadi kehete hai. I add peanut powder in it. Very delicious sabji.

Here in Gujrat we eat this sabzi a lot. It is called valor or Val papdi and it's variety is used in undhiyu and all green mix vegetables like brinjal, aloo,carrots. Your vlogs are so calming and informative 🎉

Sem beans ok hum gujarati mein walor paapadi bolte hain and we make sabji with it . Instead of potatoes we mix long eggplant and valor paapdi. We also add it in our traditional undhiyu.

In UP we called sem it comes in two varieties white and green
