Do you add a new layer of subfloor only at tile install locations? Whats the point in double up thickness of subfloor for hardwood install areas?

Hi Dave,
We only add subfloor in ceramic areas. If our customers want a flush finish with the tiles we generally use Ditra instead of plywood.
