  • Take a sneak peak at what's coming out soon from Kato USA!
This year, Kato USA is bringing out the latest addition to its line of classic named trains - the Milwaukee Road Olympian Hiawatha as it appeared in the 1950s. Packaged as a 9 car set and including the classic Super Dome and Lounge Observation cars, this set is an eye-catching and elegant tribute to the real life train that modelers will be able to enjoy on their N Gauge layouts!
Available to pull this set will be a new release of FP7A and F7B locomotives, designed to replicate the prototypical appearance of this cross-country train!
Learn more about the upcoming N Scale Milwaukee Road Olympian Hiawatha and FP7 locomotives from Kato USA, arriving at the end of October 2017, on our website!

Another wonderful N scale train by Kato. I can't wait to run it on my layout.

And you decided to go all-out Stanley Kubrick on us and provide us with the "Also Sprach Zarathustra" for the soundtrack. Clever!

Hopefully, Kato will add other FP7s to it's line. I need a Western Pacific FP7 for my Kato CZ.

Well done Kato. Hopfully you will do one for CN set or at least a special Amtrak version for the Superdome.

Be nice if you could do a back date set (4 cars?) to mirror the original 12 car train.

This will be "Also sprach Zarathustra" worthy when you make a Milwaukee Road 4-8-4 #261 (or I will even accept a #265) to go with this. But it does look a nice set.

One Class J 611 with a Powhatan Arrow set of cars behind it would get my $$$ for one maybe even 2 sets!! Hey KATO if you are reading this... You know what to do!

Granted, the FP-7's look gorgeous, but the OLYMPIAN HIAWATHA - when advertised by KATO - had ERIE-BUILT A-B units on the front! Now THAT would have been a welcome addition to ANY N scale loco stud!Oh, the BI-POLAR, the BOX-CABs (4 unit) and especially the LITTLE JOES would perfectly completment this gorgeous train on any MILW layout based in the mountains.
