Lia just kinda lost her musicality and "sureness" of her moves when she tried to put her leg up too high and lost balance, also probably because Cera was taking a step forward and you're not supposed to touch each other mid-battle so it was a risk Lia took that didn't pan out well. and her crazy facials were timed perfectly with the lyrics when the singer said "crazy" and "wild". I see her vision, it just was a little too risky. Cera's freestyle was executed very cleanly and with a lot of deliberateness.
This battle, more than most, highlights how the fog of "popularity" clouds people's judgement... Watching these two back to back, Lia is SO outclassed in every way. She seems spastic, unbalanced, and sloppy compared to Cera. And I've always been a HUGE fan of Lia's! But back to back... just because someone is more famous doesn't mean they're more talented. Just look at Taylor swift 😂 But people get so personally offended when you say someone they're a fan of is less talented! I'm not insulting you, they're still talented, but let's not kid ourselves.
