Thank you for this entire playlist! I'm a college student (struggling financially, without familial support) and I'm hoping I can use this budget notebook to help me stay on top of my debt and regular finances. Thank you so much.

New subscriber! Awesome videos! I love that this is handwritten on paper without all that crazy flourishes.

Thank you so much!! I try to add some flare and do some lettering somehow, but I can't do it for every page because it slows me down 🙈

Thank you! The snowball method worked great for us in the beginning. Good luck with your budget planning 🙌🏼

a great money book I'm listening to at the moment is Simply Money, Rich Life by Bob Lotich
and The Barefoot Investor is also great! It makes sense to me being an Aussie myself
Great series, thanks for all the effect you put into it 😃💖👏

Thank you so much for the suggestions! Definitely going to add to my reading list 😊. I've also been debating on starting an audio subscription again.

I love this series!! I used to be obsessed with those pilot pens, also. Over the last year or so, I’ve been so disappointed with them though! I’m interested to see what other pens you use over this journey because I’m always looking for new pens to get :) Thanks for giving us a frugal budget notebook option!!

Aww thank you so much 🥰! I still love these Pilot pens for just notes and to do lists (it still really sucks to use in this notebook). So far I've tried the Muji pen in .38 tip and the Pilot precise gel pen in this notebook. Not sure which one I like best just yet. I do want to try the sharpie gel pens and see if the highlighters will smear it.

That's too many goals for me at this point... my only goal would be "to get freaking organized for goodness sake" I used to have a system down that worked for me so beautifully but I recently bought a house and the mail keeps piling up. But I love your videos, hopefully, I can use some of those goals in the future!

Honestly for me in the beginning getting organized and trying to actually stick to a budgeting system was tough. Once you get back to budgeting consistently you can work on other goals. Good luck!!

Hi The Barefoot Investor by Scott Pape has a couple of great books and one is aimed at families and teaching kids about money.

Question : do I add any collection accounts that’s in my credit report? The oldest ones I have is 5-6 years and the newest ones is 2 years

    • @apurposefulbudget
      @apurposefulbudget  Рік тому +1

Have you paid those off? If not, I highly recommend you make payments to pay them off.
If they're paid off, they should fall off your credit report after 7 years. Sounds like a long time, but your credit score should go up once those accounts dissappear from your report.
Not sure if that helped, but I hope it did 🙂

Where did you get highlighters from and name brand?

    • @apurposefulbudget

Hey there! The highlighters I'm using are the Zebra Mild Liners I got them from Amazon , but I have seen them at Target and Sams Club.

Your pens might be old and the ink is dried out. My place of employment stopped getting their pens because it happened too many times we’d get a bad shipment .

I like the tutorial better when you talk as your going through the video vs the way this video is done.
