Great video! Are you manually shifting the car? If so, you should let the computer do the shifting. I only use the paddles to choose the gear I want to take off in.

Even the 4L80E in my 02 Express would shift funny if it was low. I had to drive it home once with both fittings leaking pretty bad and after changing the entire set of cooler lines, it was maybe half a quart off. So it would slip on the 1-2 until I filled it.
We need a follow up after that hurricane 🌀.

Just like us OLD guys who drove manuals all their lives. You youngins need to learn to look ahead, get your eyes off the dash & listen... The engine tells you when to shift. Get that right and you'll both gain a second at least. =D
