I have explained the effect of learning level; however, I forgot that the cynical trait decreases the faith conversion cost by 20%. Thank you for reminding ❤
@@athelasstrategy some religions have unique tenets that you can't get from reforming another religion, but there don't seem to be many among dead religions. I hope they will add some in later patches so there will actually be a strategic value in reviving a dead religion.
In Vanilla Gameplay? No. However there is a mod that makes all base game pagan faith's without a unique bonus tenet gain their own unique tenet. Usually by combining two pre-existing faiths with an added bonus to compliment the new flavor. I.e. The Waaqi Faith combines two fertility tenets, & yes Hellenism gains a very powerful & distinct Tenet of its own.
I forgot to mention one specific bonus in Vanilla, & that is Holy sites! For example a Dualist faith may provide you exactly the unique holy sites for your gameplay I.e. Valentinism is perfect for Iberia/Northern Africa players that want to retain a Christian-centric faith with their own added bonuses
Haha, she was only my avatar to record the video. If you convert your child to Asatru you should play as him or her and try to increase its learning perks.

Kyarwe Bonpo also has human sacrifice and is unreformed for anyone who wants to play on the Eastern side of the map
Keep up the vids bro
Thanks for the video. I used a similar strategy to return Ireland to Paganism.
You can check the new version of the guide in my channel. An update in 2023 introduced a much easier method to revive dead faiths.
Building temples are much better than pilgrimage. Every temple gives you 500 piety as construction completes
But it require a lot of land and much more gold than pilgrimages.
It's much easier to first convert to an unreformed faith that does still exists. ^^
Yes, this guide is not up to date now because of Tours and Torunaments. The contemporary version is available on the channel.
but is any of the dead religions actually good?
Well, you can create all types of religions by simply reforming an old religion; however, for role-playing reasons many people like to revive them.

@@iamthemistake7084what’s the mod called?
You convert a child to Asatru, planning that he'll convert to Hellinism after he inherits. Why would you care about his mother's learning perks?

@@athelasstrategy yes, of course. Unfortunately, piety points are not inheritable.
