you could hear the wavering in QueenCreeps voice holding back tears and I honestly dont blame her because the story book throws anyone into an emotional roller coaster and adding lyrics to an already emotional song and story is a whole new punch to the face of emotion that could make anyone cry which is why QueenCreeps voice is perfect for this song

Man, Mario Galaxy was such an amazing experience. You’re exploring the galaxies, stomping some bosses, and then you randomly step into the library and get hit with FEELS. I’m not exaggerating when I say the storybook was one of my favorite things from this game, and I always looked forward to it.
That's why Mario Galaxy stands out more than any other!
whenever I played I would read a new chapter every day.
@icefire3319 Every time I play, I basically just wait until I collect all 120 Stars, then I step into the library and read the storybook. I reward myself with that for finishing the game 100%.

I wonder if Miyamoto didn't really approve of the idea because Koizumi was up late at night making the story, and Miyamoto was quite surprised from that. On the other hand, I'm glad Miyamoto let it slide, because I'm pretty sure this game would be unfinished if they didn't put in Rosalina's storybook.

Ok this is a bit of a vent but you know what whatever-
I always loved Rosalina as a kid. I loved her storybook, her kind character, the lullabies and waltzes. Everything about galaxy is so nostalgic to me and my brother. This theme has always been my comfort, and these beautiful lyrics have an added weight for me. I lost my mother last year. Things have been hard, but I have the help of my friends, family, and others. Rosalina is more of a comfort character now than ever, and this song will definitely become a lullaby for my little siblings. Thanks so much, MOTI!
Rosalina and her place in the first Galaxy game will always have a special place in my heart. I grew up with the second game, but I made a commitment to buy the first. I feel truly blessed to be part of such a beautiful generation and born during a much simpler time.
When it comes to things, I like its piano, video games, and music but I am forgetful for test taking due to my Autism so I couldn't graduate college or get Drivers ID I would forget the answers in probably 1-2 hours' time I can't get a job either a 4-page report was written how I wouldn't be able to keep one. My point is life is bullshit, but you have to say I don't care even if it means being lonely & untrustworthy towards kind or rude people.

This was amazing, it summed up Rosalina’s life real well. At first Rosalina had a mother and a father, then she lost her father after she was given his telescope, afterwards her mother passed away and Rosalina was all alone. But just as Rosalina lost one family, she quickly regained another, thousands upon thousands of children to look after and watch grow up every day. Btw, QueenCreeps has such a beautiful voice.
This song is so beautiful, it made me tear up a bit. Rosalina singing her story to the Lumas somehow makes it sweeter and much sadder at the same time. Also I love the recent Mario Galaxy songs you’ve been doing, this game needs more lyrical adaptations.
Yeah, the songs from my favorite game need to be more lyrical! I heard the final Bowser battle lyric song a couple months ago, but stepping away from the epic pieces and into the more beautiful pieces, it feels great to hear this with lyrics! Let’s just say, I shedded some tears.
This is such a sweet sweet cover for this song, I really like how you captured the motherly voice for Rosaline..... though at where this song came out, three days ago a Prehistoric Lava Dinosaur who can blast lasers made of fire and a Giant Orca who can summon Tsunami's had a duel, so it's kind of a funny placement

This art style fits shockingly well! The lyrics were so emotional and amazing. The Mario Galaxy Series was so nostalgic. Hopefully we can finally get Galaxy 3 sometime soon!

Rosalina's story was simple, but one of the first examples to me of how video games could convey just as much emotion as anything else.

A great honour to a landmark game in the Mario franchise. I think this is the first time I've seen this and are suprised no one has taken the opportunity before. It's such a simple tune accompanying a tearjerking story. A blatantly obvious potential of musical composition awaiting far too long to be moulded into something like this.

Such a tragic character, and so many memories from back when I still had the wii. In the intro of the game, Bowser uses a UFO to lazer-cut Peach's castle so his airships can lift it up into space. However after this happens, the UFO only job is to show up in a handfull of times and do nothing except float around a bit. I have a feeling that the UFO was suposed to be the final boss, but a Nintendo exec was like "no" and that's why Bowser is the final boss instead.
I'll go one step further. The UFO is shaped like a giant top. Topmaniac is fought four times throughout the game, each time in a space station with several captured Lumas. I propose that the UFO belonged to Topmaniac, who alongside his highly military Topman Tribe helped Bowser capture the Lumas and conquer the galaxy. He's the secret true mastermind of the game, but Bowser is the strongest muscle so he takes center stage.
I have no words that can describe this other than absolutely beautiful.

I almost cried during this. Awesome job and hope you do more covers of Super Mario Galaxy. It's one of my favorite games and a huge reason is the soundtrack and Rosalina's storybook is one of my favorites because of the soft tone it brings. Seeing a cover of Battlerock Galaxy would be interesting to see.
