The word legend is thrown around much too freely today, but if anyone deserves that status its Angry Anderson. Rose Tattoo has influenced more bands than anyone could possibly imagine.
G-N-R haven't sounded this good in at least 25 years. Great to see and hear after all of these years, now if we could just get Izzy and either Steven or matt(preferably Steven) on board and then we would really have something.
@CBRHurricane6 no better yet type in guns n roses duff 2010 and listen to that version of "nice boys" for a while in 2010 axl had his voice all the way back...
@Anthony Marks I’m not the biggest fan either but I mean, they do write a killer ballad. And Tyler’s voice is mental, the fact he can still hit the high notes in Dream On is a testament to how talented he is
@Anthony Marks ay man, that’s fine. Don’t need to be demeaning about it hahaha. I’m from Australia, can definitely agree they aren’t big here at least beyond their 90s revival period. Not sure he only screams but that’s definitely a talent he has although you are right, it’s very plant esque but most singers of that era are really. I get where you’re coming from for sure
Fuck man i work at the RSL where Angry Anderson played live and I was working the bar fuck man he's awesome live!! He's a little guy but with a fucker of voice though especially for a little fella like him lol
FKN COOL Song!! AXL & Angry Anderson together nailed the hell out of it! Wish GN'R would keep it on their set list-only played it one time on their last tour 22-23 IT ROCKS!!
"Everybody loves the Firebirds," says Slash about his two new signature Gibson Custom models, the prototypes of which he used on tour for the last year. They are a radical departure from the Les Pauls he is known for, yet Slash wanted many Les Paul elements included on this model including humbuckers, historic Les Paul wiring and pickup spacing, and a solid figured maple cap. Per Slash's request, the Custom Shop hand-aged these with vintage-accurate checking and wear to the thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Each features Slash's custom specs throughout as well as exclusive hot-stamped Slash pickguard artwork. With only 25 of each being made, these Slash Firebirds are instantly some of the most collectible artist models Gibson Custom has ever created.
Ludo......Steve 'The Riffmaster' Clark also loved em too....he liked that "dirty sound" he claimed they could produce and you see him live on many Leppard concerts using them even if he was like his idol Page a LP Custom [later on Hysteria Tour] user, but he also some rare times used a strat with a Floyd Rose but also a 18 string Razor, he had a few a few were triple pick ups and also his trust beautiful Kahler tremolo that 'Steamin' used so succinctly as only he could...strangely enough Steve used a Tele to record a LOT.....
@@brokenthor yea I know that's a shame. I've seen where they have Mark Evans playing bass now. I saw where the were doing a rock cruise but I can't swing that kind of cash
The way the drumer play the song make it sound more weak, more like pop than like rock, I like Steven Adler's version better, and Slash... I'am a big fan of him but his playing in this video sounds more like he just played a couple of notes just to get the job done, no feeling involved. sorry but thats just my point of view.
They played this song slower because that how this song was played by Rose Tattoo and it better suits Angry Anderson. Look at the 2009 version of this song from Tokyo
Steven Adler has not been a GnR member since 1990 (he was fired), and Izzy has not been a GnR member since 1991 (he walked away from the band, by choice). They've both joined GnR on stage, as special guests in the past, but neither one of them has been in the band in many years.
Steve Kaiser, Haymond, Harris, when was it I gave you rights to use. the Guns N Roses Band Label, and use my trade name, The Axel Rose, you get what you deserve.
Angry is the original singer of the song, not to mention writing it...plus not bad for a near 70 year old! Like to see you try and do that at his age! While you're at it, better get your head out of your arse!
Axl really seems respectful to his influences
Love this part of him
He let the guy have the first verse and then took over after that. He should’ve stuck to chorus only.
@@Bogeyman19DidNotScareMyAss, It was a GnR show. Plus, I am sure that they had discussed this ahead of time :)
Angry is the man. Rose tattoo is his band. Legendary.
I really want to see Axl Rose and Steven Tyler in Mama Kin again
I commented this on the 1992 paris video!!

Hell yeah!!!
It would be nice if axl get backs his rasp

Guns and Roses got their name from Rose Tattoo
Stephen Formosa no axl was just born with the last name rose
Love to know where you can get the vest that Angry Anderson is wearing
He is a legend just for the Good he does other than his singing..
@@stephenformosa471 Hollywood Rose maybe did but I doubt that. G'n'R was formed from Hollywood Rose and L.A Guns....

Rose Tattoo had tatts before it became fashionable.
Bon Scott
Getting tats had always been a fools errand
Oh Man. This is a treat 😃☺️🤗
Axl real vocal influence besides Dan Mccafferty of Nazareth...Angry Anderson...in my opinion.
axl has said in one of his interviews that when he went to see aerosmith rose tattoo were opening and he liked rose tattoo more thaan aerosmith.

I don`t think i`ve ever seen Slash play a Firebird before. Pretty sweet

Awesome :)
Thanks. There's only one Pete Wells.
The Tatts are one of my bucket list bands I hope to get to see one day
considering 5 of the members are dead from cancer, i don't like your odds. Angry is still going though and well worth it if he comes your way.

This is so fucking good
bad boy for love.
Wow Nice
Rosie Tatts, Slash's favourite band, he loves em!
Not the best perfomance but they had so much fun and i love it.

Why australians of his generation so short? Famine period?

Maybe it was some evolution shit. They had to keep low profile because of all that fauna and flora that want to eat them for dinner...
Warren552011 Slash is a scary looking guy
@Warren552011 Ian Rilen
I always laugh at this comment when i come back to this video.
Angry is... still Angry.
did they change the key in this performance or something?
yep i think they have tuned down the song to suit angry voice better...they once both said they never liked the key of this song =D sounds good anyway
Trevor Berrie Listen tokyo 2009 version
THE TATTS MADE IT LOOK EASY BUT BELIEVE ME , IT AINT.
I didn't know they were still touring. Yes?
yes, they still need to tour in Europe, this was Australia
I hope angry dont start to sing suddenly

that firebird doesn't fit slash. it sounds weak and thin.
Mason Curtis Agreed. Les Paul or gtfo!
Mason Curtis Agreed, it doesn't sound like Nice Boys; fortus did a better job with his Gibson in Osaka and Tokyo 2009.
So, this is how Gun's N' Roses would sound with a vocalist...
