I recorded Lightning in February!

Hello Friends. Who doesn’t like lightning? I love watching lightning! Around 2am on 2/28/24 strong storms passed through Oakland and Genesee Counties here in Michigan. We did not experience high winds at my home, but I was wakened by a significant amount of lightning. And, there was a lot of lightning happening! Since it was about 70 degrees outside I made an attempt to record the lightning with my iPhone in slow-motion mode. My iPhone will record video at 120fps in this mode compared to ~30fps for most normal video. I subsequently edited the video to slow them down even more. I’ve never done this before - and thought it turned out pretty well! This was done with an iPhone 14 and further edited with Clipchamp. Let me know what you think or if you have any tips. I’ll try again in the summer on that awesome ‘heat lightning’ we often see on hot summer nights. Until then…. Thank you for watching!
