Central Texan. Have about 10 different olive varieties. None of the ones I have are on this list, mine were all imported from France and Italy. My favorite varieties are Coratina, Nocellara and Moraiolo olive trees. All seem to grow very well in Central Texas. I also have Taggiasca , Koroneki, Picholine , and Kalamata trees. Those produce less consistently, but are still nice and look great, especially with the lavender and rosemary bushes scattered throughout.

I got a Mission, I hope it does well.
May I ask what part of Texas you are in? I would like to try growing an olive tree. I live at about 30 miles northwest of Fort Worth.
