Congrats 💙 I started going to the methadone clinic to get off herion was there for 6 months now december 31st will be one year off it all. You can do it as long as you want to. When people use to tell me that I use to get mad and say of course I want to I just can't but now that I am clean I get it... Best of luck!

@@kattrzs .. Congrats to you girlfraann lol.. I was addicted to hard drugs for over 7 years, and now I'm about 4 years off of heroin.. I haven't been Completely clean those 4 years.. I still drink and take Xanax every once in a while, but I'm still able to get up and go to work every day.. That wasn't happening when I was on the H.. Recovery is all about taking control back of your own life, and being a productive human being again.. I used to go to AA/NA meetings here in the Detroit area, and they have a "do what works for you" type of policy.. Everyone works their own program, and may not be 100% clean, but they don't use the drug/drugs that was the main problem.. I'm sure I'll probably get hated on for my little input, but it is what it is

Mod, this is exactly where you need to be. You are not behind, you are not too far ahead, you are here. This is a beautiful message in this song and the video is just as good. I think alot of us can relate to having addicts and alcoholics around us but that does not mean we HAVE to become a product of that environment. I am struggling rn with staying sober but I am doing my best. Thank you for this positive message.
