This is really great.. i bought it today.. it really has some neat functions.. even some of the minor ones are very handy like auto tuning- setting the song to A-440 tuning so you dont have to retune your guitar for out of pitch songs and the mixing function is great for jamming.. i even got songmaster and ableton (for guitar fx) to play together out my audio interface which i wasn’t sure was going to be possible.
Another commenter mentioned it below, I've got Song Master and use it, but i really wish it did chord diagrams more the way the phone-only Chord IA app does, but thats just a wishlist thing, once you get used to it, and refer to a chord dictionary, of which I have several, Song Master is pretty smooth....
I have used Riffstation for over 14 years as well, and I like it, but this software blows Riffstation out of the park, it has so many features, just the isolation feature is better than Riffstation, therefore I will give it a try. Thanks for sharing RJ.
HI, I just downloaded the 3.1.00 demo version. Is there a way to print out the chords? And, in any version, will the app analyze a song being played or do you have to enter a file each time? Thank you!
Both. It's a sponsored video (there's a disclaimer at the beginning on screen and Guitar World logo), and I've been using it to transcribe and practice solos. In one of the shots, you can see I'm learning a Jeff Watson (Night Ranger) solo.
eh, not bad but there isn't anything groundbreaking here. All of this functionality already exists in other software. I think Capo can do nearly everything here (at least for guitarists) and its comes in $10 cheaper

Nice video! I have Riffstation already but think they were bought buy fender and haven't done anything for a long time, this seems much better.

You can import anything. I just tested it with a Joni Mitchel track. Did a great job isolating the drums and vocals

capo seems to be only for Mac and IOS
