I personally find that I CAN have gameplay that is ‘fine’ but its usually off peak hours and my connection has to be good on top of that. A lot of the time it’s decent for me personally but when the game is bad it’s unplayable, stiff players, Foden moving like base Drogba and random bounces that literally feel so far away from football and they need to fix that before they release more store packs.
Agree with this 100%. As someone who downloaded when it became "free" on ps plus, and having been a Div 1 player from Fifa 13-22 (and still sometimes play div 1 on Fifa 22), the gameplay this year is laughable. Auto blocks being inconsistent, manual defending might as well not existing, op 180-shots, cross body shots, corners, changing the penalties AGAIN, dodgy player movement, the worst keepers I've ever seen, keeper movement still being in the game (personal grudge), advantages being too long, offsides overriding advantages, clunky dribbling unless the player has specific playstyles, playstyles in general. Probably way more things than that but that's what I've experienced in a week and the major differences between FC24 and Fifa22, a game that also wasn't good but is made to look good with how bad FC24 is. This isn't even touching the laggy menus and server performance tanking at content drops and generally. The gameplay for FC24 at its best is worse than Fifa22 at its worse purely for how broken it is fundementally.

Streamers don’t boycott the game. If it pays the bills, that’s fine. However, don’t give EA money. Don’t game share the store packs. I feel it’s the only thing we could all do rn. The best we can hope for is a competitor to make a better football game but I don’t see that coming any time soon…

The message you sent to Nick on X seems more protective of your job than anything which was disappointing. Even if in your eyes Nick didn’t initiate this in the best way, he was still the one creating this splash leading to different content creators responding and taking actions, which in itself is already good. With how loosely tie the community is, you will never have consensus of how things should be done, so to say he Nick divided the community is also unfair. Ultimately, you and other content creators lives off of not only your hard work but also your supporters. So even you say the game is fine, which it is not, you have the responsibility to stand up for your supporters or you risk losing them. You can’t be like oh this is EA’s fault don’t put it on the CCs, but this is the nature of your job. That’s why people who work through social media are also called key opinion leaders or influencers; you are a public figures and your relationship with your supporters determine your success. You can’t take the benefit of it and not step up when you need to. Most of your supporters are scammed by EA with horrific game play, broken menus, unreasonable server problems,and then of course countless errors. This mbappe issue is just the last straw. Fuji, I am really happy you made this video and addressed the issues regarding ea and their BS micro transaction which has over time grown the game into some form of casino, I have been along the FIFA franchise since FIFA 08 and along the years, we can all agree that we have met some of the most memorable moments of the game and going further down some of the most horrible moments, it is saddening to watch what EA has become. They are quick to fix any issues related to store packs or SBC but won’t even flinch when their gameplay isn’t right.
Shutting down the store and not opening paid for packs is what everyone should do. Keep playing if you want/need, but moving away from the store is what is needed.
I agree with leaving the store packs and not opening them tbh, my experience this year with the game was really on and off, I used to play 1000+ matches every year cuz i genuinely loved playing the game, I still do that’s why I think if we stop trying to play the game for a week or 2 it wouldn’t change anything as we would just come back again the following week. Rather than boycotting the game, boycotting the store its self is a genuinely good way to move forward. As EA’s main source of revenue are these micro transactions themselves.
Nick is spot on and i understand its easy to sit there and say he makes so much money from streaming and all that which is correct but realize that most people engaging in this conversation stopped playing the game a long time ago because of how most aspects of the game were bad to start with yes for small content creators it might be a hit now but its for a better game down the line which would mean better viewership because as a smaller content creator some People will watch but still only a select few because of trash the game is in general. The game has been getting worse each year. After playing FIFA ultimate team for 10 years straight this one was the final straw. I quit the game around TOTY, gameplay was bad, store packs kept getting bigger and more expensive, while pull rates are getting worse and worse. EA have realized how to maximize their profits this game. 1. Make most packs untradable. 2. Keep releasing even more expensive packs as time goes on. 3. Make the pull rates lower in other packs so that you’re forced to buy the more expensive packs if you want a “high chance” of getting a good player. I quit the game for the betterment of my mental health and finances. However it is sad to see what the franchise I loved for so many years has turned into. Unless there’s actual change in EA practices I won’t be playing or buying any of EA future football games.
EA have been lazy since forever to start with. I can maybe see your point regarding this boycott movement. If it has to be done, it’s gotta be for a long time and not just a short term deal with the community that will literally not do the slightest damage to EA. It just shows how some youtubers are taking advantage. The new trend is "spending £500 to upgrade a subscribers team." if this is where the game is going, then there's no point in playing. It's gone from full gold teams to full teams of promo cards that surpass the previous weeks promo. Cut down the amount of promos to 1 every 1-2 months and cut the amount of packs they release and reward people for playing the game. Look what happened with the "packs for you section" which they gave up on instantly.

The genuine issue is aside from the huge gambling aspect is how hit or miss the gameplay can be. Not everyone is grinding champs on Friday night because id argue a majority of the community is casual. EA now only milk FIFA or Fc for cash. We get a fancy trailer every year and a promise for a better game but yet it’s just watered down from the last version. It’s idiotic how such a huge company can’t afford better servers with how much profit they make across so many triple a games.

If all creators stops using packs as content, and actively tries to steer their viewers away from them as well, I don't think the community can ask for more, and it will, well at least in my mind benefit us all. Nick apologized to smaller creators like yourself who depend on this game to earn a living, I think his aim was to get the top 5-10 largest streamers on the game to boycott the game for like 2 weeks. I agree with Nick, how do you know if you don’t try? Maybe it doesn’t do anything, but at least something was done to push the developers to make real changes to the game. If everyone said “oh it’s not going to do anything”, then nothing gets done and we’re in the same place. I think what would hurt EA the most, is boycotting fc points, bc most of their revenue comes from microtransactions. That's what I'm gonna do from now on. There’s a lot of problems with the game. It needs some change. Unfortunately the boycott won’t do this because even if the majority of streamers stop playing, that’s only a small % of the money they are making. And even still there’s no chance every streamer stops playing because for a lot of them it’s their livelihood. The only thing that’ll change something is genuinely a competitor in football gaming. They are running a monopoly which means they can do anything they want. Once there is competition, a game that people can genuinely play and enjoy instead of fifa, that’s when they will change.

I'm a very simple man, after seeing that they "fixed" the picks I said I'll play to 11 wins, if no Dembelé, or Mbappé I'll uninstall and FC24 is no longer on my PS. I don't like the store packs but I really don't care about that, the gameplay has issues, like all games all the time, people will find annoying meta shit and that's not specific to fifa, that's every game ever existed and will exist. My problem is that part of the player base received a massive competitive advantage, for doing the same thing, or even less as me and they can come up with their 0.7% bullshit, that 0.7% is the playerbase you'll face after passing division 5-4 or 5-10 wins in the weekend league. Of course the number will be low when you look at glitched card received accounts / total accounts, I'm pretty sure 90% of the people who have UT accounts don't even play, just bought the game for career mode and logged in once and then we're not even talking about the amount of people who got annoyed and just quit the game entirely...
I agree that gameplay can be fun at times and there really isn’t another football game except fm which isn’t really the same too me, so I’ll keep playing and just 100% boycott the store between shocking servers and error after error and ea throwing the community under the bus constantly i feel we can’t keep going along with there decisions

Not opening packs can hurt the average FIFA player, people who have families that only play the game for fun rely on the fact that you can open a pack and get some players so that you can compete with people that grind the game 24/7. There are many issues with the game i agree with what you said if your so angry and cant handle the game anymore just delete and stop playing. That said EA should be accountable for some of the issues that arise at the end of the day we all paid to have the game and they need to provide a better service.
Problem with the menus is all you can do to get the big good stuff is open 50 pounds store packs. At this point ea have admitted we aren’t meant to get anything from grinding the game.

I have only two huge issues with this game.. 1-Inconsistency of the gameplay, some times its fast, and sometimes its very slow, sluggish and irresponsive. (the main problem). 2-Inability to change playstyles for players from settings in offline modes (you can only change attributes stats).
I think even the fact so many comtent creators are talking about it is a huge positive, of course more needs to be done and we know certain creators (cough AJ3 cough) won't ever get on board with something like this and will support EA through it all. I do think small creators would be on boars with this 100%, as theyre the ones who are having to grow off of this god awful game and they still have room to switch and grow, the ones that will laugh at this and not do anything are your EA Gamechangers, scared to lose that title so they'll ridicule this. I genuinely think there’s not a bigger EA hater than myself. If crimes were legal for a day, EA headquarters would be gone, along with all their employees. I would make sure that EA cease to exist. I would sacrifice my life for the greater good. With that being said, there’s not ANOTHER football game on the market at the moment. This is all we have. I love football, and I don’t want to stop playing no matter what. If there was another game, I would never play FC 24. Unfortunately we are stuck with them. As a matter of fact, there’s not another game in general that I would like to play at the moment. COD and 2K are being run the same exact way. Maybe it’s time for single player games?
The issue isn’t whether or not you enjoy gameplay, you do you. Like you say there are aspects to the game that need to be fixed, but how do we ensure that EA will listen and fix? The community have been vocal about the issues for a decade (or more), and still EA have remained silent. They don’t care about creating a good product, but they do care about revenue and pleasing shareholders. A boycott of the game or just FC points will hurt them in their most vulnerable area, which will force change. Btw it’s not so simple as for the governments to ban FC points. They will need to go to court and provide evidence of unlawful practices, which is very hard to do. EA added, after a previous lawsuit, probabilities to the game which made their horrible monetization lawful.

Ever since price ranges came in on fifa 15 the game has completely changed. I remember coming up against a mega team once in a blue moon all those years ago and now it’s unbearable. Haven’t played this years fifa and have no intention of buying any other game in the future.
i think i agree with fuj here. To be honest i always run a rtg. Im 38 and playing fifa since 98 but never spent money in the game. Always grinded the game. Im not a good player as well. Mostly i finish rank 4 or below. But i use my coins wisely. I have saved around 6.5m doing that. Do some trading when i see a opportunity. So spending actual money in this stupid game there is no point. Just 1 hour a day i think that is efficient. But the main problem is gameplay. EA needs to address that issue. Also we need to stick together for about stop buying store packs. That will hurt Ea and maybe they will spend some money on the gameplay

I think it’s worthwhile to look into the situation of Nba2k ultimate team (removing transfer market, making the best players all locked behind packs) what they’re doing Is criminal and creators have to outright boycott the game, it’s a real dangerous direction sports games are heading in.
I hate this because I spend 90-95% of my time grinding menus then I get a new player and then I have to grind for another player I hardly have time to actually play the game I would love to get mbappe but I can't earn the coins by playing the game unless I'm an elite player then I'll get decent cash rewards but even then cards go extinct which I think shouldn't happen

From the limited legal knowledge i have, it looks like something can only be considered 'gambling' if the pack we purchase with our virtual currency can be sold on to third parties for 'real money'. In other words the fact we can't sell our players we get from these packs directly for real money, means that it doesnt meet the legal definition of 'gambling' and EA can legally hide behind this. Absolute bollocks if you ask me as we all know the snarly intentions that EA have, it is gambling if you ask any reasonable person. This definition of gambling isnt agreed with in Austria and Belgium which is why FC points are banned in those countries specifically. Our law is binding on previous case precedent, so its harder to change our stance on these things here in the UK.
I’ve been playing every year since fifa 15. The biggest changes I’ve seen over the years is just more content. Look at the amount of successful RTGs that exist now. So many content creators are already ditching opening packs because you can get to the same levels by grinding the game. I remember watching Nick28t grind bronze pack method for forever and not necessarily even be rewarded that well for the grind. Now there’s so many methods of getting good players through objectives and champs and rivals. I feel like while yes the amount of store packs are absurd, and the gameplay can be very very shitty, EA have made it where people don’t have to spend a ton of FC points to have fun and success in the game

I personally find that I CAN have gameplay that is ‘fine’ but its usually off peak hours and my connection has to be good on top of that. A lot of the time it’s decent for me personally but when the game is bad it’s unplayable, stiff players, Foden moving like base Drogba and random bounces that literally feel so far away from football and they need to fix that before they release more store packs.

Agree with this 100%. As someone who downloaded when it became "free" on ps plus, and having been a Div 1 player from Fifa 13-22 (and still sometimes play div 1 on Fifa 22), the gameplay this year is laughable.
Auto blocks being inconsistent, manual defending might as well not existing, op 180-shots, cross body shots, corners, changing the penalties AGAIN, dodgy player movement, the worst keepers I've ever seen, keeper movement still being in the game (personal grudge), advantages being too long, offsides overriding advantages, clunky dribbling unless the player has specific playstyles, playstyles in general.
Probably way more things than that but that's what I've experienced in a week and the major differences between FC24 and Fifa22, a game that also wasn't good but is made to look good with how bad FC24 is. This isn't even touching the laggy menus and server performance tanking at content drops and generally. The gameplay for FC24 at its best is worse than Fifa22 at its worse purely for how broken it is fundementally.

The message you sent to Nick on X seems more protective of your job than anything which was disappointing. Even if in your eyes Nick didn’t initiate this in the best way, he was still the one creating this splash leading to different content creators responding and taking actions, which in itself is already good. With how loosely tie the community is, you will never have consensus of how things should be done, so to say he Nick divided the community is also unfair.
Ultimately, you and other content creators lives off of not only your hard work but also your supporters. So even you say the game is fine, which it is not, you have the responsibility to stand up for your supporters or you risk losing them. You can’t be like oh this is EA’s fault don’t put it on the CCs, but this is the nature of your job. That’s why people who work through social media are also called key opinion leaders or influencers; you are a public figures and your relationship with your supporters determine your success. I don’t support people for abusing CCs into action. You can’t force it. I also don’t believe CCs should stop making content on the game that lives on. We can’t do that because that’s your job. But take Nick again as a reference, he still makes a lot of fifa videos but why he has so much support is because he walks his talks; he streams other games; he calls out EA frequently; he stops streaming packs with points months ago etc etc., and there are just many ways that you can still do what you do and still make money; you just have to be creative. Fuji, I am really happy you made this video and addressed the issues regarding ea and their BS micro transaction which has over time grown the game into some form of casino, I have been along the FIFA franchise since FIFA 08 and along the years, we can all agree that we have met some of the most memorable moments of the game and going further down some of the most horrible moments, it is saddening to watch what EA has become. They are quick to fix any issues related to store packs or SBC but won’t even flinch when their gameplay isn’t right.
Shutting down the store and not opening paid for packs is what everyone should do. Keep playing if you want/need, but moving away from the store is what is needed.
I agree with leaving the store packs and not opening them tbh, my experience this year with the game was really on and off, I used to play 1000+ matches every year cuz i genuinely loved playing the game, I still do that’s why I think if we stop trying to play the game for a week or 2 it wouldn’t change anything as we would just come back again the following week. Rather than boycotting the game, boycotting the store its self is a genuinely good way to move forward. As EA’s main source of revenue are these micro transactions themselves.

The game has been getting worse each year. After playing FIFA ultimate team for 10 years straight this one was the final straw. I quit the game around TOTY, gameplay was bad, store packs kept getting bigger and more expensive, while pull rates are getting worse and worse. EA have realized how to maximize their profits this game.
1. Make most packs untradable.
2. Keep releasing even more expensive packs as time goes on.
3. Make the pull rates lower in other packs so that you’re forced to buy the more expensive packs if you want a “high chance” of getting a good player.
I quit the game for the betterment of my mental health and finances. However it is sad to see what the franchise I loved for so many years has turned into. Unless there’s actual change in EA practices I won’t be playing or buying any of EA future football games.

It just shows how some youtubers are taking advantage. The new trend is "spending £500 to upgrade a subscribers team." if this is where the game is going, then there's no point in playing. It's gone from full gold teams to full teams of promo cards that surpass the previous weeks promo. Cut down the amount of promos to 1 every 1-2 months and cut the amount of packs they release and reward people for playing the game. Look what happened with the "packs for you section" which they gave up on instantly.

The genuine issue is aside from the huge gambling aspect is how hit or miss the gameplay can be. Not everyone is grinding champs on Friday night because id argue a majority of the community is casual. EA now only milk FIFA or Fc for cash. If all creators stops using packs as content, and actively tries to steer their viewers away from them as well, I don't think the community can ask for more, and it will, well at least in my mind benefit us all. Nick apologized to smaller creators like yourself who depend on this game to earn a living, I think his aim was to get the top 5-10 largest streamers on the game to boycott the game for like 2 weeks. If everyone said “oh it’s not going to do anything”, then nothing gets done and we’re in the same place. There’s a lot of problems with the game. It needs some change. Unfortunately the boycott won’t do this because even if the majority of streamers stop playing, that’s only a small % of the money they are making. And even still there’s no chance every streamer stops playing because for a lot of them it’s their livelihood. The only thing that’ll change something is genuinely a competitor in football gaming. They are running a monopoly which means they can do anything they want. Once there is competition, a game that people can genuinely play and enjoy instead of fifa, that’s when they will change.

I'm a very simple man, after seeing that they "fixed" the picks I said I'll play to 11 wins, if no Dembelé, or Mbappé I'll uninstall and FC24 is no longer on my PS. I don't like the store packs but I really don't care about that, the gameplay has issues, like all games all the time, people will find annoying meta shit and that's not specific to fifa, that's every game ever existed and will exist. My problem is that part of the player base received a massive competitive advantage, for doing the same thing, or even less as me and they can come up with their 0.7% bullshit, that 0.7% is the playerbase you'll face after passing division 5-4 or 5-10 wins in the weekend league. Of course the number will be low when you look at glitched card received accounts / total accounts, I'm pretty sure 90% of the people who have UT accounts don't even play, just bought the game for career mode and logged in once and then we're not even talking about the amount of people who got annoyed and just quit the game entirely...

Not opening packs can hurt the average FIFA player, people who have families that only play the game for fun rely on the fact that you can open a pack and get some players so that you can compete with people that grind the game 24/7. There are many issues with the game i agree with what you said if your so angry and cant handle the game anymore just delete and stop playing. That said EA should be accountable for some of the issues that arise at the end of the day we all paid to have the game and they need to provide a better service.
Problem with the menus is all you can do to get the big good stuff is open 50 pounds store packs. At this point ea have admitted we aren’t meant to get anything from grinding the game.

I have only two huge issues with this game..
1-Inconsistency of the gameplay, some times its fast, and sometimes its very slow, sluggish and irresponsive. (the main problem).
2-Inability to change playstyles for players from settings in offline modes (you can only change attributes stats).
I think even the fact so many comtent creators are talking about it is a huge positive, of course more needs to be done and we know certain creators (cough AJ3 cough) won't ever get on board with something like this and will support EA through it all.
I do think small creators would be on boars with this 100%, as theyre the ones who are having to grow off of this god awful game and they still have room to switch and grow, the ones that will laugh at this and not do anything are your EA Gamechangers, scared to lose that title so they'll ridicule this.

Brilliant video I start playing the game since fifa 19 and now ended up with a gambling addiction which am having to get support for I won't ever buy the game again until there's major changes
They let go a lot of people and most of their project is being outsourced, which is causes lots of mistakes.
I genuinely think there’s not a bigger EA hater than myself. If crimes were legal for a day, EA headquarters would be gone, along with all their employees. I would make sure that EA cease to exist. I would sacrifice my life for the greater good. With that being said, there’s not ANOTHER football game on the market at the moment. This is all we have. I love football, and I don’t want to stop playing no matter what. If there was another game, I would never play FC 24. Unfortunately we are stuck with them. The issue isn’t whether or not you enjoy gameplay, you do you. Like you say there are aspects to the game that need to be fixed, but how do we ensure that EA will listen and fix? The community have been vocal about the issues for a decade (or more), and still EA have remained silent. They don’t care about creating a good product, but they do care about revenue and pleasing shareholders. A boycott of the game or just FC points will hurt them in their most vulnerable area, which will force change.
Btw it’s not so simple as for the governments to ban FC points. They will need to go to court and provide evidence of unlawful practices, which is very hard to do. EA added, after a previous lawsuit, probabilities to the game which made their horrible monetization lawful.

Ever since price ranges came in on fifa 15 the game has completely changed. I remember coming up against a mega team once in a blue moon all those years ago and now it’s unbearable. Haven’t played this years fifa and have no intention of buying any other game in the future.

i think i agree with fuj here. To be honest i always run a rtg. Im 38 and playing fifa since 98 but never spent money in the game. Always grinded the game. Im not a good player as well. Mostly i finish rank 4 or below. But i use my coins wisely. I have saved around 6.5m doing that. Do some trading when i see a opportunity. So spending actual money in this stupid game there is no point. Just 1 hour a day i think that is efficient. But the main problem is gameplay. EA needs to address that issue. Also we need to stick together for about stop buying store packs. That will hurt Ea and maybe they will spend some money on the gameplay

I like your idea to boycott the store. I think it’s worthwhile to look into the situation of Nba2k ultimate team (removing transfer market, making the best players all locked behind packs) what they’re doing Is criminal and creators have to outright boycott the game, it’s a real dangerous direction sports games are heading in.
I hate this because I spend 90-95% of my time grinding menus then I get a new player and then I have to grind for another player I hardly have time to actually play the game I would love to get mbappe but I can't earn the coins by playing the game unless I'm an elite player then I'll get decent cash rewards but even then cards go extinct which I think shouldn't happen

The issue with EA is zero competition. They have us bent over backwards because there’s nothing else to play. My other frustrations is the same ppl moaning are the same ppl that go onto 6pm and load up 12k eafc points and open them “for the content” stop lining their pockets!

From the limited legal knowledge i have, it looks like something can only be considered 'gambling' if the pack we purchase with our virtual currency can be sold on to third parties for 'real money'. In other words the fact we can't sell our players we get from these packs directly for real money, means that it doesnt meet the legal definition of 'gambling' and EA can legally hide behind this.
Absolute bollocks if you ask me as we all know the snarly intentions that EA have, it is gambling if you ask any reasonable person.
This definition of gambling isnt agreed with in Austria and Belgium which is why FC points are banned in those countries specifically.
Our law is binding on previous case precedent, so its harder to change our stance on these things here in the UK.
I’ve been playing every year since fifa 15. The biggest changes I’ve seen over the years is just more content. Look at the amount of successful RTGs that exist now. So many content creators are already ditching opening packs because you can get to the same levels by grinding the game. I remember watching Nick28t grind bronze pack method for forever and not necessarily even be rewarded that well for the grind. Now there’s so many methods of getting good players through objectives and champs and rivals. I feel like while yes the amount of store packs are absurd, and the gameplay can be very very shitty, EA have made it where people don’t have to spend a ton of FC points to have fun and success in the game
