- I got Early Access to Ray-Ban Meta Multimodal AI! The multimodal AI on Ray-Ban Meta allows you to use the camera with AI in the glasses at the same time. This allows you to ask Meta more complex questions such as translating signs into a different language or summarizing texts. Let's try some commands out in public and see how useful these are!

Hey this sounds so terrific. For me as a blind person I can see lots of use for the AI. Reading a menu, maybe asking for spacific items on a menu, bus destinations, colours, etc, etc, etc. Cant wait to see/hear more.
EXACTLY. I'm thrilled that this tech can exist for blind people. I am profoundly hearing impaired and am waiting, semi-patiently, for these companies to integrate real-time captioning capabilities.
I got access to the Multimodal feature today spent my walk identifying trees and birds. My optician was able to fit my Rx lenses so I use them all the time.
how did you got access to?
@@alecostayt I believe it’s a feature now by default but initially I got an email to opt in to beta program
Would be good for visually impaired, “Meta, look at tell me the expiration date on these eggs.”
So many people are waiting for this! It’s potentially a much more affordable version of Envision.
I happen to be totally blind, I was thinking about getting a pair to test it out, and I was litterally gonna comment on this video and ask if it would be good for me as a blind person but you did the work for me lol.
Just the kind of video I was searching for. 😊 what format do the videos record in? Also, does Meta have a feature where AI can describe what you're seeing in a video that was previously recorded on the glasses? I'd love to buy a pair here and bring them with me to my European Vacation to identify and translate landmarks.
Nice Jas . Can’t wait to see what else you learn! Enjoy your trip!
Thank you! Much needed trip
This was an awesome video, and i love these glasses
I've been playing around with this feature and it is a lot of fun. Have to keep in mind that the lense is wide angle and you got to be closer to the object / thing
Good point!
Great vid! Thanks a million
What commands should I try next? I also did some plant ones
Loving your videos, thank you so much and also the picture quality and sound is such high quality of your vids, thank you.
I've just ordered a pair will I be able to access the same translation settings now? Is it out of trial as this will be so handy with me travelling a lot for work
Use it on your vacation!
Is this multi model feature a new updated different pair of meta glasses or it’s the same as the rayban 2 that you have with newer software upgrade?
How do I get this feature on my glasses anyone
what Impress me of that Glasses is the Build in Headphone, its so clear, not too loud not too soft
Gonna get one of these Soon
Remember, it’s also probably pulling location data off of your phone though it could be done with AI and the photo, It’s probably actually being done using your location. I told Google to come back into the space right as they were shutting down Google glass. I don’t know why they didn’t do this exact same thing. 😮😂
Thank you
Thank you for this video. Im looking for glasses that can translate, was hoping the Meta glasses were able to show them on the glasses and not have to go back and forth on the phone. Also don't like how you have to say hey meta every time you want to translate, i wish it could just point and look and have it translate.
I have access now but still not working there in Portugal!! Anyone is using in Europe?
How do you get access to the feature?
🔥
How are you able to record the command and response? I have this access too and it’s pretty cool!
0:54
How do I enroll
Question, do they fit in a quest 1 or quest 2 facial interface?
Nope I tried 😂 the glasses are too wide.
I haven't gotten the update
Can i use it on android
I've been addicted to the feature ever since I got access to it
What commands do you like? I need ideas! 😊
how you got the access to?
@@alecostayt it's available for everyone now
Hello i have rayband meta but why i cant use this features?
Only available in the US right now I think
are they regular glasses or sunglasses, they change throughout the video?
Transitions change with sunlight
How do i access this feature on glasses. When i ask it says it does have acces to view context in front of me
Apparently only available in US still :(
I am in US 🤷🏾♂️so dont understand why its not working. 🤷🏾♂️@VRwithJasmine
As a person with a profound hearing impairment, the developments in AI glasses have some very, very significant opportunities to help the deaf and hard-of-hearing people of the world. But the companies do not appear to be focusing on real-time captioning and translation as a prominent usage feature. Nor do reviewers, as in this one, ever touch on that topic. Do these glasses caption and translate LANGUAGE in real time? It appears they do not. I'm on the hard search for the best AI glasses technology for this purpose in social settings, meetings, movie theaters, etc. Seemingly, this product is not that. (Or is it?)
Jazzy Jas! ❤
whats uppp
Just a clarification about the ducks, the response is right as domestic ducks like those are considered “Anas sp.”. So no specific species behind them :)
Ohhh neat! Ty
@@VRwithJasmine yea, green headed ducks are mallards, and pretty sure that was oak trees
green head is male mallard and the all brown ones are the females.
when i get this beta i'm getting another set with transitions.
How do you get the beta??!!
@@Simonrilley812 as far as i know it's a roll out. so if you dont have it now, you wait.
neat, but speed and limited output still has this a step behind cell phones. maybe next gen.
Also, the AI is only available in USA right now so idk if I can translate signs overseas yet. I'm traveling next week to the Philippines so I'll try then. Lots of potential here but not fully there yet
@VRwithJasmine for a visit so beautiful i would want a tour guide
there’s no next gen needed, you mean next update ?
What an AI test without food, come one😂?
My glasses battery died by the time I got to food 😅
Hey meta, do my homework...
You can cheat on your DMV knowledge test
May as well just use your phone, overpriced sunglasses for those who love gadgets I suppose.
There’s lots of other features outside of just this. You can certainly use your phone for all of the things this can do, it’s just more convenient and easier to use these. My favorite use cases are talking on the phone while walking my dog completely hands free and taking POV videos hands free which allows me to film my hands doing something
@@VRwithJasmine i have glasses that have bluetooth that cost me around 25$, they can connect to my phone, i use gpt from my phone and i can speak to it without saying any ''hey'' command, it sits there waiting for me to say anything and when im done it answers right away with 0 delay
@@mirshia5248 And for hands free filming you can just duct tape the phone to your forehead.
