What the rating climb did for me is give me a way better understanding of the depth that goes into games at the level you play at. From seeing the evolution through the levels below, I can better appreciate what is going on at this point in the run and it makes it fascinating.
I dont think bullet or blitz speedruns will be educational , thats the point from these videos right? I think you should continue with these rapid videos because they are so helpful
1:34:20 the amount of times I've been surprised by a pawn moving forward messing up my plans... it's like a blind spot you don't think of them being effective until end game.
Next stream is likely to be the finale! I am voting for a bullet speed run to 2200, it would be great to watch No commentary during games but boy we would get nonstop action (You can always review afterwards)
That puzzle 1:04:00 ending/explanation seemed a bit unsatisfactory because black would not push the pawn when it can clearly be captured/forked within the next couple of moves. Instead it might try and chase the knight which is more likely to end in draw by repetition. This can happen in quite a number of ways so this is not an easy puzzle to nail down the solution for.
At 22:08 for a backrank checkmate once your queen was on d7, could you have advanced you pawn to f4 to threaten the bishop? If he moves his bishop, it's either checkmate or you can take his queen with your knight depending on where he moves it. I do see he could check you but it seems like you could get away and ultimately grab his d4 pawn with yours? Would this work out favorably?
1:49 good job game reporting game. The opponent couldn't finish the game in the last minute with extra pawns. Add slowed down their play. 3000 puzzle rate???
I love how chess is so hard and takes so much thinking and at the end of the day all we can hope for is to be slightly better than a phone You'll never be as good as an iphone
AGAIN NELSON, THANK YOU SO MUCH AS ALWAYS. I'VE SHARED THIS WITH DEAR FRIENDS THAT ALSO PLAY CHESS WITH ME, I WISH MY LITTLE BROTHER WOULD TOO, BUT HOW I TEASE HIM REALLY GETS UNDER HIS SKIN, .. HA!! I'M STRONGER THAN THEM, BUT THEIR SURPRISING GORILLA WARFARE TACTICS ARE ALWAYS A SOURCE OF SMILES FOR ME. THE BEST FAVOR I CAN DO FOR THEM, IS TO SHARE YOUR EXCELLENT VIDEO HERE. ONE OF THEM LIVES IN SPAIN AND THE OTHER IN ENGLAND. SHARING YOUR OUTSTANDING INSIGHTS INTO VERY SOUND CHESS THINKING IS SUCH A JOY FOR ME. I SO ENJOY AND LOOK FORWARD TO ALL YOU SO GENEROUSLY SHARE WITH US. AS ALWAYS MY FRIEND, WISHING MAJOR BLESSINGS TO YOU AND YOURS FROM OREGON, ... MIKE
Dear Nelson you are a defensive minded player , even on attacks it feels you are always looking things in a perpendicular way. you never think in terms of the diagonal as shown by you not pinning the knight on the king
20:55 i love when u said this game is complicated😂, but anyways, u are awesome man! surely chess is something too complicated, even amazing players like u think so
Please don’t say cheating always your all moves was also top engine moves as well then are you cheating? And he took some moves around 2 mins as well, think about it

It would have a different vibe. Nelson would have to do a detailed commentary afterwards with the analysis.
They would be fun to watch though!
It’s still entertaining to watch
@@prepaidtrash5552 For me personally it would still be entertaining content. But yeah of course you wont really learn anything
Rapid is also way more fun

Someone should send the first game to Gotham for a GuessTheElo game.
yup
What a crazy first game!
that first game was incredibly entertaining! so wild!

Wow! I got bored with the puzzle...until you showed the knight promotion defense! Gold!
Great playing nelson
The king has to go in front of the pawn! Very instructive! Thank you Nelson!
"What is happening??.." gets me everytime. 😂
That was an awesome first game!
The first game 😂lion jaw or whatever although its wasn't a king indian setup for your opponent but its was crazy with your rook hanging for so long
I found the Bh2 queen steal at the end and was yelling at the screen! Great games.

You'll never be as good as an iphone
8:16 they could moved bishop to F6 and defended the rook. Then castle
That Makkelijkscoren guy was playing some bizarre moves lmao
The third guy certainly thought outside the box.
Congrats on beating stockfish!
Yeah he pulled a hippo
Can anyone give the link to the one just prior to this?
Thanks again Nelson!
(Also interacting to curry favor to hopefully get a game against you at some point!!)
I think he'll do another speed run
Vladislav Prskalo the "weird" game was probebly because he is old..
waaaw the first game had me going crazy... am like nelson move the rook move the rook but naaah. lol
It's so elegant and logical when you do it. It's so dumpster fire when I do it.
What is stockfish estimated elo for first game? 😂 was it 700 vs 500?
Im pretty sure i can descend as fast as you ascend. Yes i used spell check.

13:58 I am giving my queen opinions to do stuff to the king! Filthy 😂
why not take the rook when the knight was on g7?

Hello Nelson, Watch you all the time.
Informative content😊
second last game was fine actually natural moves
How did it go with the cheater yesterday? Figure anything out
Not a cheater it seems.
Wait till you fall and scrape your body then your going to wish you put clothes on 😂
20:55 i love when u said this game is complicated😂, but anyways, u are awesome man! surely chess is something too complicated, even amazing players like u think so
Who wants a rating climb in bullet....
This series is coming to an end...plz start bullet elsi
🔥🔥
Blitz (3 minutes)
Bullet (1 minute)
Those would be a hoot to watch
Fun idea: play stockfish but every 10th move is Martin
Trash idea
First game was the best of the series. Wow!!!!
I saw queen g6 on my own and im 500
👍 😊
!!
Nice
🤦♂️
Please don’t say cheating always your all moves was also top engine moves as well then are you cheating? And he took some moves around 2 mins as well, think about it
Some players hand moment is just slow, idont think he deserves a report
@@madhusudhan2326that guy was like 2k blitz though, should be able to bust a few moves out within 5 seconds.
If he's not then they will not ban him
You actually played badly in that first game, you missed a lot of threats from black
Thanks, we didn't know
It wasn’t his best game but it wasn’t as terrible as you make it sound. Still beat a 2000 rated player. I’d like to see you do better
@@typicallymoody I can't do better , just stating for his standard, wasn't good, he even said so
If he said so then why are you saying it to him as if he doesn’t know? 🥴
can you stop with that music please!!??
