Josh Koch, who collaborates with Dana, gave me a simple drill with the takeaway in that you just put a ball behind the clubhead and try to push the ball with the back of the clubhead in a straight line.
There are things to understand though to execute it properly. For instance, I would bend my right arm too much in the takeaway which would get the hands working too for up and in on the takeaway. Also the left elbow positioning and the rotation of the lead deltoid play a larger role.
A big part of it, from what I understand, is that you're basically trying to not restrict your lead arm's ability to 'swing' off the shoulder. When you do the opposite, the lead arm starts to load into the chest and the arm swing becomes restricted.

There is not a single video on UA-cam that is better than this to simplify the take away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 👍🏻👏🏻

The first 30 seconds of the video was ah ha moment for me. I went down to my hitting area, and at address I put my arms more on top of my chest instead of hanging more too my sides of my chest. It made my golf swing so much more free, and so much easier to strike the sweet spot of my irons.
I don't know if the arms hanging more to my sides blocked my swing and threw my arms out in the downswing, striking the ball closer to heal of the club. I'm hoping this was the route cause of some of my swing problems, but I've been down that road before.

When I take the club away, I feel like I am pitching a football to a running back down the line behind me, sort of like the heavy bag move... Good video.

The one thing I don’t understand is that doesn’t your head move when you shift your weight back and forth?

It’s shifting your pressure not your mass. It’s like lifting up your right leg then falling slightly onto your right leg and then picking up your left leg and back-and-forth. Imagine like you’re in the middle of a seesaw, you can push down on one side while the other leg goes up but you remain centered

You need to release this all at once.

I think when people talk of tempo this is what they’re talking about , zen golf try’s to teach this force and motion stuff but you see him end up teaching positions, people often don’t get the concepts,it’s harder than it looks, the classic Ben Hogan Ed Sullivan clip proves that. Interesting stuff and funnily enough its what I’m working in,

Throw concept was covered by you with Lee detrick. For optimum stance and detailed throw motion , please see Mike Austin and Mike Dunaway videos.
