Kim, I have just started watching you recently and wanted to say thank you for sharing your idea of removing the frame from the Museum Bookshelf. I had started it a month or two ago and that frame was killing me. Going to turn the fabric and start on the other corner. I enjoyed seeing all of your work. Happy stitching.
I’ve binge watched all of your videos now! I wanted to tell you I LOVE the way you set your goals and keep track of them!! You have a great balance of commitments you have to reach and still some flexibility to pick and choose as the year goes on! I found you through your Events Explanation for Full Coverage Fanatics! So glad I did! Keep posting, please! 😁
That's awesome that you binged all my videos Rebecca! Thanks so much for the kind words. It gives me such satisfaction to create goals that make me stretch and then getting to check them off, plus seeing my WIPs progress! 😁 Happy stitching!
Happy New Year Kim. Lovely to see all your pieces, you inspire me to start all the full coverage!!! Congratulations on your finishes especially Friends Forever which is stunning. I keep meaning to tell you that I am already stitching the Dog Bookshelf by Randall Spangler, I have cropped it to my favourite five books and have two and a half completed. I am not on facebook or Instagram, but am joining you in spirit. Here's to a great 2025. xxx
So happy for you that your life has settled down enough to stitch every day! I love the pieces where you did all the black first. Hopefully that helps the rest of the colors go faster. I have noticed that HAED stitchers seem to start at a faster rate than they finish! But it's all good. No cross-stitch police, right? Wishing you and your girls a happy, healthy and peaceful New Year.❤
This was a great wip parade, Kim. I love your Randall Spangler wips. The color you chose fro your Big Red Ship is cool. I have a quilt that i have trouble doing the actual quilting on because it was going to be for my mom and she got sick and passed away while I was quilting it. Sigh.
Absolutely fabulous progress stitching. You are such an inspiration. Congratulations on a great year of stitching. I hope 2025 brings you an abundance of more stitching and I look forward to watching your progress. I hope you are not getting sick. Happy stitching!
I always look forward to your WIP parades. I have watched it twice already. From watching your videos I have turned to stitching more full coverage with 5 now started and 13 patterns in Pattern Keeper. I have Mini Trick or Treat and want to start with all the black now!. Look forward to more videos. Thank you
Hi Kim. I just came across your WIP parade. Amazing work! I love how you did the colors on Templar. (PS. I was born at Offutt many, MANY moons ago. Thank you for serving🇺🇸.
Hi Kim WOW!!! Love all your finishes. It always make you feel good when you accomplish your goals. You do amazing stitching on your projects Kim and I am in AWE when I see what you have accomplished. Congratulations on what you have completed in the year 2024. I love you planning for 2025. I am looking at a HAED pattern called Shepards keeping watch by Dona Gelsinger. I have never done a HAED pattern and I have seen so many beautiful patterns and I love Dona Gelsinger and Randall Spangler patterns. Love to see when you do get the time to see Hooper and the kitties maybe next time. In the meantime Happy Stitching and be safe and kind and a Happy New Year. God bless Pat
Hey Kim! So great spending time with you and catching up on your 2024 stitching. Amazing progress all round and very enabling! 😅 adore your year of greyhound finishes and your Anne stokes! Love the pumpkin stain glass, such a fun chart! Also loved the fact your have “reclaimed” Odin and big red ship! Yes Kim! Happy new year to you and your girls and hope you have some great stitchy fun in 2025 💗🧵
I loved your wip parade!!!! Now I’m going to go look at canvas sizes!!!!!! Your stitching my favorite one she offered with the HAED sal!!! I’m so excited!
@SmallTownStitches Hey Leann. The canvas finish is so easy to do, and you can find them in lots of different sizes. I almost used a 5" flat artist canvas for the greyhounds but the 4.5" wooden blanks were better. Here's to a stitchy 2025!
It’s such a pleasure to watch your podcasts Kim. Your work is truly incredible. Just a thought - it would be FUN to see a podcast of All your finishes. Maybe you will consider this idea. ❤

My goodness Kim by the time you got done telling about the stitch totals and page amounts I was out of breath ! 😮 like winded. Im just 75 and just started my first mfe fruits of plenty. I know it doesnt count as full coverage but its close enough for me. I have a subscription on your channel so i will be following you. My son retired army and just turned 50 this dec 25th. Im stitching the great ape by artecty. Thats full coverage its a challenge i hope to have it done this year. Happy new year to you and your family and thank you for your service.🎉🎉
I love every minute of every one of your WIP parades. So much good stuff to see and I really enjoy hearing your goal setting. Definitely inspiring! I had to have a laugh because I’ve had the same conversation with myself. “Since I’m planning to finish an FC every year for a few years, I’ll have more time to dedicate to the bigger ones.” And then I start an average of 2 more increasingly bigger ones every year. 🤦♀️ 😂 I suppose there are worse problems. Thank you for taking the time and for showing Friends Forever. As a viewer, I’m gonna miss seeing that piece each month. Happy new year! 💗🪡
Congrats on hitting all the goals & 0 no stitch days 🎉 thanks for the info on the Stitches Sew challenge, hadn’t heard much about it. I like that Jan chart.
Hello Kim, I love your full coverage stitching. I'm a new stitcher! I started a large Heaven and Earth Designs last year. It takes me 2 hours for every one hundred stiches. As you can see it will take me for ever. I'm amazed how fast you are and how beautiful you stitch. Would you consider making a tutorial of how you stitch and what is your strategy and advise. It would be very helpful for us beginners. Thank you and keep on stitching!
@barbarapadron1814 hi Barbara! Welcome to cross stitching! With full coverage designs, the hardest part about getting going is finding out what method suits you best, whether it's doing block by block, stitching in diagonal sections, the "royal rows" method, or cross country by page like I do. I encourage you to watch more videos on full coverage stitching and don't be afraid to try different things! I'll see if I can make a tutorial on how I stitch.
Fantastic progress. Pieces look amazing. Great point about the haed sal. I'm aiming to complete 6 pages too but may well back off and switch my focus to my main wips and the hummingbirds
LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! Your WIP parade! And along the way writing down patterns that I NEED to get. Odin Raven really strikes my fancy. You enabler you! LOL I'm also a HAED 2025 SAL participant. Nature's King is the chart I chose. I started the day after the chart was released. Figured out that I made a major boo boo so had a restart on Jan 1st. I doing Nature's King on 36 count Fabric Flair in white, 1/1 in tent stitch. If I do 300 sts a day, I may be finished with the previous chart releases and waiting for the next release. Such a good problem to have. 😀
@susierosefinlay thanks Susie! Odin stitches up quickly but the large sections of black get a little boring. I like Nature's King! That's one that I'll be looking at progress pics to inspire me to finish the 6 pages so I can earn the other charts. 300 per day isn't bad!

Hi Occam. Thanks. I don't think I'll make the greyhounds into coasters but someone suggested getting a small easel to put them on. :-) The cats will definitely make more appearances but I had too much going on to do it during the WIP parade. lol

Hi Kim. Thank you for showing your full coverage wips…I am in awe with how beautiful they are turning out. I am fairly new to full coverage. I started out monogamous but since watching several channels (Nicola) along with yours I have now acquired 6 starting 2 of them in 2024, and purchasing my latest two today due to a HAED sale going on. The problem for me is that I can’t work on 25 count. The stitches are too small for me. My 1st wip I am using 2 threads, my other wip I’m using 1 thread. @FosterChicken welcome to my channel! Yes, they load no problem into PK but they won't show the backstitch, which was just 2 mouths on the gnomes that I finished.
@the_dbs_stitcher Minot! We were there from Nov 18 - Jun 21. Lived on base for the first time and that was a great decision for the location. Living in a neighborhood with other families was great.
Just sitting here minding my own stitches, thinking - oh yeah, that's the one I suggested she do the eyes first...and then you say it and I scream. I'm being judged by my cats atm

I'm a new follower. Your work is beautiful. I am really enjoying your videos.
Thanks so much! Happy stitching!
I really enjoy your work. How many strands do you use for tent stitch h? Thanks for the videos
@pattykuchera3368 Hi Patty! I use 2 strands doing tent stitch, no matter if it's 25, 28 or 32 ct.
@msufly thanks
How do you do your tent stitch? I have seen several ways.
@pattykuchera3368 I do continental tent stitch, so the thread takes the long diagonal on the back of the fabric
Thank you
New here. Do you know if the Soda stitch designs will work with Pattern Keeper app?
@FosterChicken welcome to my channel! Yes, they load no problem into PK but they won't show the backstitch, which was just 2 mouths on the gnomes that I finished.
💜💜💜
Grand Forks or Minot? I was active duty in Minot for 5+ years. Way before your time tho...lol Ended up staying in ND for 35 years
@the_dbs_stitcher Minot! We were there from Nov 18 - Jun 21. Lived on base for the first time and that was a great decision for the location. Living in a neighborhood with other families was great.

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Just sitting here minding my own stitches, thinking - oh yeah, that's the one I suggested she do the eyes first...and then you say it and I scream. I'm being judged by my cats atm
LMAO and I'm going to save that row of pages for last so we'll get to see those beautiful eyes looking at us until the end of 2026. :-D
Jeez Kim happy new year ! U sounds not really in good shape ? Are u ok ? U sound a bit short on breathing when u speak hope u doing well ! !
@melaniealtevolmer8219 I'm totally good now. Not sure what happened when I was filming but I didn't get sick.
Thanks Jessie! I totally forgot to mention & thank you in the video for the RAK of FF in the first place! Thanks for 8 years of stitchy goodness! :-D If only there was more time in the day to get more stitches on our biggest pieces right? LOL
