@@nowhereland_2 thanks! For night shooting I recommend zebra 1 (70+-5%) on your subject, whatever the subject is. Remember to have good lighting thought cause increasing the ISO will introduce some noise
how will you use zebra 1 and zebra 2? or are they automatically mixed together.
You can choose to display only zebra 1 or only zebra 2 or both at the same time, but both at the same time is confusing on a small screen
What about clog off, what will that do?
Then you won’t be filming in 10bit, only 8bit , that wont give you much room to play with color grade in post and reduce the dynamic range
@@YoussefHallouly will it still look fine though?
Yeah sure but I never use this mode, I only use Clog3@@royaltykidstv
Bonjour !
@@YoussefHallouly Ah nickel merci beaucoup !
Cordialement Alexandre
What lens were you using ? Was it ultra wide ?
I was using the Rf24-105 F4L lens, I think i filmed at 24mm :)
Thanks, really helps.
Glad it helped!
Hello Youssef!
Merci a toi
my CLOG video is super noisy. what do i do?
Clog or Clog3 ? For Clog3 have you tried following what I say in the video?
I got it dude! I was underexposing, I thouhgt goign over 6400 ISO on R6 was the reason. But actually its not. I t can go even further!@@YoussefHallouly
Bro thankyou just simple and that’s it
Happy I could help :)
Great video, I followed all your advice to the T and still getting noise in the shadows 😡
Oh no! Maybe you need to add more light and keep the ISO down, close to 800
You can try with the higher base iso 3200 and go down to 800.
I think a mix of zebra and false colour is always good.
You really want to overexpose as much as you can.
@@Corruptlol187 Yes correct!
@@Corruptlol187 Does the R& have dual base ISO for clog3? I thought it only had one base ISO for each profile (I think it's 100 for the standard ones, ISO 400 for Clog1 and ISO 800 for Clog3).
How did you get 70% for your skin tone? What about about folks with darker skin tones
Hey man! The test I conducted on my skin tone resulted at 70%, which I deemed to be ideal. However, it may vary for individuals with different skin tones.
usually for darker skin tones you’d what to use a lower IRE value such as 60% (example) but you should test around and find out what works better for you
Pure gold man
Thanks man! 😊
Does clog3 also be record on 800 iso?
Yes i try to keep my ISO at 800, but I’m not scared to crank it up a little
@@YoussefHallouly but a lower iso will give you less noise right? So I don't understand why 800 iso is recommend?
@@Webrisernl that’s the base iso for Clog3, you will get the most dynamic range at 800 iso, if you lower or increase from that base iso you will loose dynamic range
@@Webrisernl but in terms of noise, I never tested iso lower than 800, because I never get any noise at 800 anyways :)
@@YoussefHallouly thanks.. so what is better hdr or low noise from lower iso 😀
Good stuff. 👍👍
Thanks :)
thank you.
You're welcome!
I just used a lightmeter.
Nice video. You don't need a wind screen if you're filming inside.
Thanks! It's to protect the plosives from my voice :)
I think I can hear you quebec accent
Haha oui oui 😅
As a black person, this was not helpful.
