- In this timelapse video, we want to show you in 37 minutes how you can build a frame house with your own hands. During construction, we use power tools and advice from the famous carpenter Larry Haun. Perhaps, to some of you, some of the maîtres may seem non-standard, but we are obliged to use the technical documentation of the region in which we build frame houses.

Larry Haun, a genius. R.I.P, 💪👍🔨🇺🇲🇮🇪
Larry Haun was a well oiled nail machine. I don't think I ever seen him use a pneumatic nail gun
Not just the skills but the system of organizing the job site as well as the method of working....a real team effort.
I’m just amazed they built this in 37 minutes. Must some kind of record.
Why no insulation between the joists under the floor boards ?
Should have put a membrane under the floor to minimise any damp rising when the extreme wet weather occurs ,it will make the floor last longer .
Yep Insulation should be in the subfloor for any cold weather👀🤣🤣
These are the coolest duo carpenter I’ve seen.
Thank you. Yes, we are ordinary. Just doing our job
Nice work guys. You're probably the last team in the western world building with common sense. Over here you'd need full fall arrest harness gear and the entire building scaffed...
I'm from Poland. 25 years ago i was learned it. Beautiful job. I'm under imprese.
You two look like a well oiled machine together. Nice work.
I admire your carpentry work. Please keep up the awesome work. I enjoy watching your skillful talents. Thanks for sharing! May God continue to bless you and your family amen! 🤗❤️🙏

You guys doing it RIGHT straight off the bat !!! Love seeing the adhesive used for subfloor. Nothing more annoying than squeaky floors
I love it! I wish I was as talented as you. Great job.
Great work Gentlemen!
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🤗
Very nice. 👍
I would like to see the rest of this house finished off inside & out.
Are you going to post a video of the completed job?
He's going to wait until it gets 14 degrees out to finish 😳
Amazing work!!!

Wonderful job guys 🇨🇦
Thank you, Jhon! 🙌🏻🤗
Tell me, do you have a cold, ventilated attic? if not, then the ventilation gap is too small under the metal tiles
زۆر زۆر شازە دەستەکانتان خۆشبێت 🎉
Impressive
Nice
🔥🔥🔥
Wow, what country you're?I'm from USA working on construction newer seen anywhere this skilled people. Great job. The codes different here too.
Why are you not insulating the space under the OSB sheets..?.. The floor will be very cold in the winter..
I wonder about not having a slab or foundation or insulation.
MOUNSTROSO 😃👍🏼
El trabajo es de profesionales
If you do pre-drilling for screws there is less splitting of the wood. 😮
hello . What glue do you use to stick the plates to the floor? thank you
🙏❤️👍💐✋Excellent
🔥cool💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🤗
gergaji tangan yang anda gunakan apakah merk bahco?
jika iya saya juga menggunakannya
I did this for many years in San Diego...was a great time...now Im all worn out.
What sort of tape are you using on that building paper? I’ve been looking for something that sticks to felt paper for a renovation project on a 1930a house. Thanks!
Green tape is TECTIS Sitko Flex. Siga Rissan is an alternative I’ve seen in Europe quite often, it’s really sticky and flexible. Not sure about the white one.
@@KitpecsSiga tapes are excellent.
😱😱😱😱😱🤦🏻♂️estos chavos si son expertos en la Contruction
I thought i would see the finished product🤔
How long nails with this red gun do you use for construction? :)
I like watch for your work :)
What is the value of a Haci house to build it here in Panama?
No insulation between the floor joists
Because We are in a rainy and snowy region; it is advisable to insulate the floor after the roof and wind protection on the walls are already in place. Yes, this causes some inconvenience, but the end result and quality are important to us!
@@harshcarpenter I live in sweden , I admire your work , I use the makita Rear handle saw to , I have noticed the batteries aren’t tolerant to minus degrees , and run down very quickly in the cold temperatures, + they will not charge when they are cold , have you had similar problems , I love the saw , thinking of getting a cable version for the winter luke the one you have , I will wait to get the 40 volt version , and see if they have fixed the battery problems
I thought floor insulation goes in later.
@@jamesjosephkerry7079I don't see any change coming in battery performance until chemistry changes.
For a remote project it's hard to beat a generator with mains operated tools.
I’d like to buy a copy of the blue prints
😁👍🇧🇷 31/12/2023
Nice job!
Thanks 🙌🏻
What county are your projects?
❤👍🏿
👍🏻✨
🙌🏻
Why not stagger joints on subfloor?
No wood decking for the roof?
Must be in Canada as we don't have that good of lumber here.
Lumber is available everywhere, the question is rather its cost. 😉
Pro
Why do they not install insulation in the floor.
My favorite part is when he switches out the dewalt impact for Milwaukee to get those 6” screws in. Moral of the video dewalt sucks buy Milwaukee.
👍👍👍👍👍🤔😁
How many days took time of you this project?
23 days
Why no a ridge vent
I like how you timber is true dimensional lumber (though likely metric) N.Amercan timber has been increasingly getting smaller in scale over the decades +lower grades of wood are being approved for framing 🙄
Why not all country legal this nail machine
Son rapido
PUT A COAT ON !!
What music is this ?
Cool 👌🏻 music 😉

Hi may cob carpenter help yuar
all money?
Ott
This is insane to watch,,here in the UK,,99% of UK houses have concrete floors on ground floor,,and to use OSB board is crazy insane,,this is mainly used on shed floors or roofs,,
Belarus, Europe is where the Harsh Carpenter channel is located. Just as said in the video description, what you see here are what is considered best practices for material availability, weather, seismic, and pests.
@@aaronorr5586 what a laughable comment
Suspended timber floors are far superior to slabs, they are cheaper, warmer, easier on the back and a joy to work on for a chippy.
@@TheToolnut not here in the UK,,wood is far more costly,,almost to a point of ""unaffordable ""
@@markb1487 I'm in Ireland and I built a 90 sq mt (approx 900sq ft) workshop. A suspended timber floor with 100mm Kingspan rigid foil backed insulation between the joists. The joists were 7"X2" and 7"X3", noggins every 4', 18mm T+G OSB on top which was glued and nailed (62mm zinc coated ring shank nails) Solid as a rock and not going anywhere. I built it in two phases because of budgetry and time constraints. In my opinion every house should be built over a crawlspace or full basement.
No level ,no plumb yes they are harsh carpenters!!!!!!
All that brilliant creativity to build a cold home ….!😢
Nice try I almost watched it thinking it was a Larry Hahn video
I hate these crawl spaces. Spend some extra money and pour concrete slab or insulate the osb board underneath at least. If I had to go with crawl space I would rather use good quality plywood and would at least paint the bottom side to make it little more resistant against the moisture. These osb boards suck. It is just commercial propaganda that tries to prove it better than plywood.
Your right to do as you see fit. It was not our plan to dissuade you or convince you of anything. 🙂 We showed in videos how we do it. Perhaps so you could do it differently. 🙌🏻
Spend the extra money for a basement especially in tornado country. A little misleading from my point of you framing in the winter time looks like a nice summer day to me.
Hear good things about stapling insulated Mylar, just eighth of an inch thick to the bottom prevents rodents and does all those things you’re talking about. I wouldn’t personally use OSB on the bottom where I live in Lane county Oregon, but people in Deschutes county Oregon certainly could because it’s incredibly dry there, so it really depends on your environment.
Concrete slabs are horrible. They are expensive, labour intensive, freezing cold and very hard on the back. Suspended timber floors are the way to go as long as they are properly insulated.
@@TheToolnutplus there's potential to dig out a basement...........
First of all it’s winter in snow region so NOT a good idea with any logic involved, and the craft is hard enough in good weather
Terrible way of construction, no floor insulation specially nin a cold environment like that
