I think it was a mistake not picking up the legendary bucket. You can't expect to win over the long-term with nothing but traps. When he got savaged by the AI it wasn't just the traps making it hard to maneuver, there was also an 8/8 beating him in the face.
Picking up spells was good, secrets not since the shrine plays them and you often end up with copies in hand You should get value from other powerful spells like animal companion, which can help even if the shrine is down
I really love the Rumble solo player mode, but I really hate how if you beat it once with a shrine of your choice it lets you pick it again. After one run it’s like... Over. What’s the point?? I feel it should be like Kobolds where if you beat it with one shrine/hero it should put a check mark by it and it’s your goal to beat it with all of the shrines/heroes. It’s very creative and unique but I wish the layout was like Kobolds and Catacombs so it would feel more challenging and fun.
Kenneth Okubo Not even that. Maybe even just beat it once with each hero with a shrine of your choice?? I just really don’t like the “win it once and your done” thing. There’s no replay value, and it’s frustrating when the mode is so fun and creative. I would just like a challenge with it or something.
Earn your card back then make a list and every time you beat it with a new combo checkmark that thing. You don't need the game to tell you what to do, do you?
Love when thief shrine steals your teammates and then gets flare from a burgle effect i hate these runs, even when you win it doesnt feel like skill, just feels like you got triple cherries on the slot machine.
I had a Rumble ended earlier today fighting Zul'jin. Used Call Pet turn 4 to summon Oondasta turn 5 which then the overkill summoned a Savannah Highmane. Then turn 8 Kathrena and pull another Highmane.
@@Bruh-el9js The other guy is incredibly good if you already have some semblance of control over the board, with some secrets out and the means to protect him for at least a turn. In those cases he will generate a lot of value and can really help close down games. However if you do not have control over the board, you will often struggle to find a situation to play him without your opponent already having an answer ready, since by himself he does not have an immideate impact on the board (during the turn you play him), how valuable he is heavily depends on your opponent. Getting a 5 mana 8/8 with taunt on the board is on its own a rather valuable play as it will not only trade at least 2 for 1 in most scenarios, but also protect other valuable targets on your side (like your shrine). Additionally he has an effect that has immediate impact, if you have any way of killing a minion, and can provide you with fast answers to go forward with. If you are behind trying to catch up, this card provides the board valua with his stats and the chance to get just the right spell to answer your next problem. If you are ahead this card will provide continuous value as long as you control the board. While it may not provide quite as much immediate value in the already wining scenario as the 4 mana card, in those scenarios you are probably gonna win no matter which of these two you play. Thus the 5 mana 8/8 is overall the stronger card (even though the 4 mana one is not bad aswell).
@@Slash-XVI I would agree with you if we were only considering the early stages of the run, in the last 3 bosses the 9/9 taunt doesn't help you at all, at least not when compared to a freezing trap or a explosive trap, 11:06 shows perfectly how strong this card can be when your opponent has a lead (which will happen most of the time in the last bosses since they have perfect buckets), you will not be able to control the board with minions later on the run so you might as well play for those disruptive traps that can singlehandedly win you the game, even if you can trade 2 for 1 it still won't matter because the opponent's minions and spells sinergize way better than yours, also don't forget that most of the time the 4 mana one does have imediate impact, his secrets can win you the board even when it's not your turn and some secrets can even protect him as if they were a divine shield or even better with freezing trap
>Drafts only secrets with a shrine that already provides infinite secrets. >Is surprised when only secrets isn't very good and he has no plays. Oh Trump...
@@Tachii31 Lol also true. To be fair the first one was good, but boy would the 5 mana 8/8 taunt with infinite spells have saved his ass that game rather than a second secret guy.

They really need to give a reward that is better than just a card back. I can give them credit that this solo content is better than almost all their other stuff, but there isn't really much of a point if there is no reward for beating the run for every class.
>Is pretty much always at 5 secrets >I need more secrets >Next game get no value out of either of the smugglers >Next game is always having a empty hand >Could've gotten many many hunter spells. and 5 dmg off lethal.
really, my first run I pick shaman, and won ;3, ended going hybrid of evovle and overload. turns out you have infinite time on your turns, and if you get the shrine that lowers mana cost of spells by two, your echoing evolve spells will turn any creature you have on the board into a decent body creature
I just won a run with this shrine. I pretty much just ignored any spell related pools and just took mostly Mech and Big Beast ones. By the end i had 2 Sneed's Shredder, 4x Zilliax and 3 Venomizer. For the Teammates both times i took that 4/1 poisonous that does 1 damage to all enemies when it dies. Then got the double shrine. So any spell gave me 2 secrets but honestly the shrine does nothing 90% of the time anyway. So i just relied on big Mech beaters and poisonous spam.
Took me 20 tries with all sorts of shrines ... But got lucky with the warrior armor attack shrine and double shrine buff for final boss. Had 2x23 attack shrines on final boss with the deathclik and kept his shrines dead so his minions killed him mostly with dmg to hero which would have gone to me. Easy win on my end. ;)
I had the "healing does damage to your enemy" shrine. My opponent had the stealing one. He stole my restore everything to full health minion, and my shrine decided to work for him and I got boardcleared off it. Lovely way to lose on boss no.3.
Will Trump ever get to win a whole rumble run? Only the future knows... Maybe someone should start reading some of the tips during the loading screen. Like the one that says "don't rely only in one strategy". Does this ring a bell?

Because the smuggler played the trap after the minion attacked and made him trigger a secret. Causing the smuggler to play a secret. But that secret didn't activate until the next attack because the attack already happened.
bird3713 this shrine is actually pretty easy but you have to pick your buckets strategically. Don’t pick traps and also pick some quality minions so you have plays while the shrine is down. I had value overload on the final boss with this shrine
