Recently received the small rig grip. Works great and doesn’t make the camera much bigger
Just hold for a second and think how ridiculous it is: we might have just 5mm of camera height to have more comfort grip and even bigger EVF and still have very, very compact camera. But instead, they push us to buy camera with tiny evf and additional grip. I'm so tired of all that product market placement bullshit.
I got the Small Rig one for my blackout A7CR. Way better and nicer looking. Great video.

@@ABarrera Thanks, Alex! Quick question, I just picked up an A7CII open-box and I noticed there’s a slight gap between the bottom two shutter blades. Does your a7cr have the same slight gap between the shutter blades? It’s only noticeable when you’re looking down at it from an angle. Not sure if this impacts performance but want to make sure I dont have a defective camera

I presume anyone wanting the sony grip will be able to get them on the cheap from all the a7cr users that opt for the small rig instead.
you are like Andrew Tate meets Three Blind Men and An Elephant. i have the sony grip included so i didn't buy another one but the only downside i can think of for the smallrig is it might get cold in winter because it is metal. but in floralida that is not a problem
Both are metal. I have the A7CR and the Sony grip was a hair too bulky for me. The smallrig grip is exactly what I wanted. Timely video as it just arrived yesterday.
