Geisterhaus (Mikli) - Walkthrough/Onwalk & Light [60 fps] - Fronleichnamskirmes 2024 in Oberhausen

A walkthrough with lighting through the "Geisterhaus" (haunted house) of the Iserlohn showman "Valentin Mikli" at the Sterkrader Fronleichnamskirmes (Corpus Christi Fair) 2024 in Oberhausen. The attraction consists of an obstacle course inside and outside, as well as a walk-in balcony that is also used by a scarer. It was built in 1993 and was known as "The House" until 2001, and from 2002 to 2016 as "House of Horror". The interior is mainly kept in the dark. A suspension bridge and water obstacles lead you to the interior. This is followed by a wobbly floor with knotted ropes hanging from the ceiling, before you go up a staircase and through brooms hanging from the ceiling to the outside area. This then leads through a labyrinth with movable bars and a distortion mirror, then down a staircase into a horror labyrinth with movable floors and figures. This is followed by some light effects and other obstacles such as iron chains, rubber mats and ropes, through which you make your way to the second obstacle course outside. This leads again through a water course with movable seesaws, fog effects and other obstacles before you reach the exit over a bridge. Overall, the exterior facade is very well done. In particular, the scarer with the giant spider on the balcony, as well as the movable executioner, are real eye-catchers and provide one or two moments of shock and surprise. There are also various skeletons, zombies and ghosts, as well as appropriate sound effects. Unfortunately, the interior is a little carelessly designed and offers too little variety, as well as hardly any movable ghosts and surprises.
