Da needs to be arrested. As for the ammo guy. People think that “it’s not a big deal” or “it will be fine” when NO it’s not ok. It does happen to you and you are going to jail. Stupid people. Check your luggage before you pack or use a different set of bags to travel internationally. Your lucky it was only jail. Some countries have life sentences for that kind of thing.

Flying overseas with ammo is very stupid and wreckless. If you do not have the competence to know if you have ammo, nor research the laws as to where you are flying with lethal products; you should not be allowed to even purchase ammo or weapons. You are not responsible or competent enough period.
What type of plane? A commercial plane the TSA would have taken care of before boarding a flight. There are about nine other Americans that landed on the same soil, this past year or so, accused of the same exact circumstances. Something is fishy.
@@jennyeagan1840No There is nothing fishy going on,it is these people being irresponsible and not checking their luggage for ammunition, also not being responsible for doing research of the country they are visiting and knowing the laws and rules of that country,And not following the State department Advisories which they announced and put out LAST YEAR,and repeatedly have been saying it this year as well.TCI tightened up their rules.. regarding ammunition either last year or the year before..The state department warnings and Advisories Make it clear that people traveling to TCI should start double checking all their luggage months BEFORE they travel to TCI to make sure that they have no stray bullets in their luggage or try and get new luggage if necessary,None of these people either did that or they did not do their basic research into that countries laws and rules.And whatever airport that all these people flew out of TSA needs to fire those employees or have that airports employees go back thru training again,because they keep missing all these bullets by not throughly scanning or searching passengers luggage .So the fault lies with these people and TSA,Not with the country they are visiting...and it was a commercial plane

I drove through a stop last July and accepted the ticket and said Thank you because I was admittedly distracted and that's unsafe. Luckily the ticket and traffic school were less than the cost of an accident.

To carry around guns or ammunition when going outside the USA shows a true lack of social responsibility. This is not a new story, all been warned. To think you as as an American should get special treatment is beyond belief. You are in another country, you choose to be there, other counties have the right to have their own rules, laws, and regulations. When I hear an American speak about justice, it is about others. You are a visitor, and it is your responsibilty alone to be knowledgeable. Own your own actions.
