The best choice for an older Adam would be John DeLancie.. His role of Q makes him well suited for an older Adam.. I think he could keep up with Ryan's wit and timing quite well in that kind of role.
I'm so glad that Netflix picked this up and it wasn't done by Cruise(can't stand that guy!). This was a kismet piece with Reynolds and Scobel- Walker's mimicry of Ryan's comedic timing( and his dark brown eyes!) make it very believable that they are the same person.Loved this movie!
I got strong Flight Of The Navigator vibes at times. At points I heard enough references that I knew took place in the Seattle area. Maybe because I lived there at some point.

Another couple of references. Keener was also in Disney's "The Kid", which saw adult Bruce Willis interacting with his younger, bullied self. And the thing with older Keener bossing around younger Keener was very much like older and younger Ron Silver in TimeCop. The Kid isn't a time travel movie, but TimeCop definitely is.
I noticed that right before the ship jumped time, that a counter showed on the dash. 60..78...80.. 86.. It looked like the ship jumped at 88. There's another Back to the future reference. Oh and 13 going on 30 is a time traveling movie so that is not a reach.

i have watched the movie and its really good. did you miss the plane leaves 2 lines in the sky. just like the car does in back to the future. netflix do have some impressive movies its just some times finding them which is the hard thing

How did you not catch a location? There is a Seattle skyline in the background (same one used in Freeguy as well). So while not a specific location, it sets in the Seattle/Puget Sound area basically on Bainbridge Island for the Sorian building. 4:22 has Lumen Field, 4:25 has the Space Needle.
When does Vancouver not play stand in for Seattle? LOL. I'm really surprised that RR didn't impose that the setting should actually be Vancouver into the script or storyline.
Not sure if it was just the costume designer being on both movies(unconfirmed) for this movie but the kid wears the same colour way as wolverine in X-men 3 🤔 his jumper is freakinly similar
We're not even half-way through 2022, and I already know that The Adam Project is my favorite movie of the year. The same way I knew that Boss Level was gonna be my favorite movie of 2021.

Hiding the jet by reversing into a cave like the millennium falcon hiding in an asteroid is another star war referrence.

Ryan Reynolds' movies are always absolutely amazing, this one was my favorite, especially the marketing strategy for the film on his UA-cam channel.

So BRUCE BANER and ELEKTRA's only child Hal Jordan became Deadpool and married GAMORA.
The whole thing about the mom not having time or know how to fix and upkeep the house is pretty realistic.
