- In this episode, we talk about why we decided to develop 30mm x 120mm wheels and a new fork to accommodate them. We also give you guys a closer look at the new Rigid SCS, get some opinions on the new Metra Grips, and Will reveals a little something that he's been working on for Meta.

Holy, I haven't kept up with the industry in years because of school. But I'm glad to see rider owned companies are still innovative with designing parts.

I think it’s so cool how you take a different look at all the parts of a scooter. From the built in top cap and in the SCS and the built in fender on theory deck, you always come up with new ideas. Keep up the innovation, amazing work.
I really love how tilt is expanding their horizons, PS I would be stoked to see those aluminum bars you were riding hit the market

You guys seriously make art, innovation is never on a halt at tilt, your theory deck is so good I already own a back up. It’s always good I know I support one of the most innovating brands with great quality parts.

Tilt wheels are easily the greatest wheels to hit the market! I'm sure these are gonna be even better, and the design on them are great! I also love how riders are able to customize their sig wheel to the point where even the core is different... Amazing! The fork and clamp that you guys are releasing, are suuuper slick, and the design on them is perfect. You have found a nice way to make the 30 mm wide compatable fork look great, and the clamp, too, is great! Keep up the great work with Tilt, Collin! :)

The fact that the scs acts as the dust cap is bloody amazing, i ride afew of tilts parts and ill always vouch for them, you guys are pushing the scootering community into the right direction imo

Tilts one of the few teams to always keep one upping themselves and always pulling through with what the team riders/community want as you can see by the grips they’ve worked on because they wanted to make it perfect for their team
Absolutely loving Tilt Tuesdays. Definitely like the idea of the bigger wheels, especially with standard Tilt bearings as switching up to 12mm takes so much modification to the scooter that it weakens it :( 100% back the taller SCS, as I myself sit at 6ft2. Will keep my eyes peeled for part 3! Big love for you guys, keep innovating and creating!
I’m really intrigued by having the scs also act as a dustcover. I personally don’t ride one because they just feel extra and unnecessary, so I can’t wait till those clamps come out. But until then, I still have my tilt sculpted one, which has been nothing but amazing. Shouts to Collin and the whole team at tilt for pioneering our sport and what we ride🙌
I love that Tilt is looking at it's products from an engineering aspect, as well as an consumer/rider aspect. I have been ridding 30mm wheels for awhile now, and agree with Will on why you should at least try out 30mm to see if the fit you're riding style. I'm looking forward to seeing Will's signature wheels and what Tilt brings to the party next.
Those parts look sick, I’ve always wanted to ride 30 mm wheels but never had the money to. The scs design is so unique, love what tilt is doing by creating parts that you can’t find from anywhere else

I really can’t wait to get my hands on a bigger set of wheels and Im really hyped with what you did with the 30x120 wheels considering there are so many benefits. They’re going to be a nice fit for us taller fellas, they’re faster which is going to be awesome for transit, park, and street riding, and the increase in surface area between your wheel and the ground is also going to be amazing for carves, overall balance and rough terrain. Also really stoked you guys went with the standard skateboard bearing; it would be a nightmare trying to replace a 12STD bearing. Also Will’s wheel is so sick the clear urethane is cool as hell! This video got me really stoked and I honestly can’t wait to see what the future has in store for Tilt and Meta. Now hurry up and let us see Tommy’s sig!
I really like the idea of everything being compatible, I think it is definitely the future of scootering and keeping it affordable, it's awesome to see such a high end brand realize this. Hopefully more will follow suit. I also really like the look of the wheels, they look really clean and I love how the clamp flows into the head tube of the scooter, the internal lightening is super dope, you are really pushing scooter tech. Super sick stuff guys

I really like how tilt is making all of their parts easily compatible with the wider wheels. I also understand why you guys decided not to go with 12mm standard being that it seems a bit ahead of the times in that most brands are sticking with the standard size bearings. Keep up the great work tilt! And keep making these awesome new products!!

120 by 30 is the best wheel option out right now, especially for the older riders and I'm glad you guys are heading in that direction. I've had a couple of tilts 110x24 wheels and they where awesome no hiccups with those so i know for a fact these are gunna be awesome maybe even better. and that you for making the fork look real slim for a bigger size wheel cause most other forks just look so bulky. and the scs clamp is def an aluminum masterpiece
The wheels look so great and I definitely would love to get a pair. I've always wanted to try wider wheels but I haven't got. The money for them and a fork. Will's wheels also look super fricken sick too. I love the idea of meta and how you guys are putting everything together. Keep it up and please never stop making the amazing parts and throwing all these ideas out there. (clamp is BA btw)

Honestly the forks are my favourite parts the nimbohawks they look so nice Ye are as slim as the tomohawks but have the nice design of the nimbus and they fit so flush with the wheels that look amazing and I love the idea of the scs working as a dust cover just makes the scooter look so much cleaner I love watching the tilt Tuesday vids keep them going

Someday, I would really want to try out 30mm wide wheels. I have rode 24mm wide protos for a while now but really want to try out 30 wide tilt wheels. Love the parts, love tilt, keep up the great work!

I think the parts are sick because of their compatibility. The fork is dope because it would allow you to try on wide wheels and yet still allow you to go back to 24mm if you dislike them. The wheels are sick as well because they have a cool looking design, and work absolutely flawlessly with the theory deck. All in all tilt is easily the best scootering brand and everyone on the tilt team is consistently helping to push the industry.
Considering trying this in the future for sure 😊

It's nice seeing that not everyone rides the same scooter parts as each other on the Tilt team. If you looked back say two years ago, all of the team were on TSIs and the same kind of wheels. Now, everyone is riding a different config of parts... Better suits people's styles I think.

I am pleased to see the scs grow 7mm on each end of the new scs, i think that having a bigger clamp will help a little more with bar flex and fork snappage. its one reason i have put off scs and used HIC for so long as having hic yes there is a silt in the bars however the bars go over the forktube and help with overall reinforcement in that region of the scooter. as for the chunks out of the middle i hope that the forces of riding doesn't warp the clamp open as they look like fairly big gaps, hopefully you understand what I mean. love to have those orange 90A wheels too! I really like harder wheels ever since the green machine days!

I really love the new designs and love how you're pushing the tech forward. I can't afford bigger wheels because my fork and deck can't even fit 120mm by 26mm but i would love to test bigger wheels because i feel like that is another step for pushing scooters and make the scene even bigger as well. I hope i can afford the theory deck and those bigger wheels soon because i absolutely love the look and probably feel of each of the new parts. Also thank you for pushing signature parts and especially those dope cashion sigs (gonna cop those even if they don't fit my deck because they are wayy to fire)
and also thx for keeping the axles 8mm cause this make it wayeasierr to try these parts and interchange them

compeltely agree on the bearing aspect, always felt that 12mm is overkill. Also the integrated headset cap is something i have been thinking of, looks innovative.

I think it is a really creative idea because how expensive scooter are these days ,grate design and looks like a grate products .also deep up the grate work .🔥🔥
i'm all for 12 standard as i used to break a lot of 8mm bearings but you do have a fair point in saying that 8mm bearings are easy to get vs 12mm. I'd be intersted to try out the difference between 125x30 (12mm) and 120x30 (8mm) as the only other wide wheels i have had have been 115x30 (8mm) and 120x28 (8mm) neither of which i got on with! Also it would be cool to make the 6” therory decks with the fender able to fit 125mm wheels just incase people wanted to retrofit larger wheels into your decks without filing out the fender!

I am really happy that Tilt is kind of like Apple. Tilt will watch a product that is released, observe and if it is promising and the community likes it, they will adapt it to their own brand and make it better, stronger and even cooler!

Been keeping a MUCH closer eye on Tilt since the initial announcement of the Theory deck. Really curious about how 30mm wheels feel on manuals, but equally as curious about those aluminum T's!! any word on those being released rather than just a one-off for Colin? Always wanted to try lighter bars but dont wanna drop 150+ on titanium ones. Sick stuff guys, cant wait to see what else you have in store!
