  • Is this the best electric skateboard ever? Possway T3 review vs Segway Ninebot Max. Speed test, it's WAY too fast that's for sure, but you don't have to go top speed. It has amazing battery life, will get you anywhere you need to go in the city. Super shock absorbing 105mm tires, very comfortable to ride. Really fun to vlog on for youtubers. Skateboards vs electric scooters? You can't really vlog on a scooter, but I do miss those handlebars for safety. Best skateboard 2022 under 500 dollars. Best for college and commuting, regular driving around town, grocery shopping etc. Great motor and battery. Unboxing.

Dude don’t call it scooter lol it’s eboard, longboard but def not scooter haha. Shutting down by going downhills on full battery it’s not some stupid feature, it’s simple physics.. it called regeneration(recuperation) it’s normal and exists in all EV’s. Also it’s not relevant to compare turn radius of scooter and longboard .. they are different and serve different needs.. the only common use is commute from point A to B
And yeah.. this brand is bad .. There are much better e boards for that price like: backfire or meepo and others. My friend had possway and he returned it and bought backfire.. he was much happier. I have meepo and it’s amazing too

Possway T3 is a good company and for a budget longboard with soft, forgiving wheels and a quiet motor with its long-range battery, the T3 is an absolute steal! Its Pro-mode powerband does take some getting used to, but once one gets comfortable (with the helmet on as a minimum!), one can go flying with this thing! Fun times, Kasey! You'll be chasing down fast-moving wildlife in NO TIME!! 😅

Do you not know what regenerative breaking is? It literally means it regenerates energy when you're breaking so if you're already on a full charge you'll generate more energy than the battery can handle. In which case you'll blow the battery and then you'll have no breaks and no board afterwards too. At least if it shuts itself off you'll still be able to use it after you eat shit

That looks amazing, I have a Roar Rocket Vaccum press and some Maple laminate if you want to try to make a better deck with a tail. I could also make a tail you could attach to that one with longer mounting hardware. I had thought for a while about getting a Boosted Board to ride through the trails in Taylor Creek and the Don and had planned out how I would modify the deck or make a custom one for the very reasons you pointed out. I paused the video to read through the specs, that realy is dangerously fast, you might get speeding tickets in or newly engineered society with all the new Vission Zero speed limits. It might be nice to make use of bike lanes as long as you carry a loud air horn for people you step out into bike lanes without looking.

No brakes ? Thats just bad design. Motor braking, sometimes called 'cogging', is still possible with this board if they fitted a relay or power mosfet to connect the motor to a shunt resistor when the batteries are full, to maintain the braking effect down hill while protecting the batteries. It's as if it went to market before they finished safety testing. But, in the right hands, it could be lots of fun I bet

  • @filmstudiojapan

It looks like the wheels they sent with yours are an add on "105mm Shock-Absorbing Front Wheels" for $70 per pair, so $140 total. Would still probably opt for them personally. Used to cruise an ancient version of this tech. The motor was basically a car motor starter. Brakes were technically there, but I had to dismount before any real hills or I would die, as the trucks were really loose.. which was nice for turns, but sketchy as F at speed. It would need to be well implemented for safety, but a servo assist that steers the wheels slightly only when you lean strongly for tight corners would be genius on these things. Would need to be a calibrate for your weight thing, and maybe even need a lock off switch/activation switch to avoid tragedy at speed..

There are two versions of this board, the T2 (2022) and the T3. The T2 comes equipped with 90 mm traditional skate wheels while the T3, reviewed here, comes equipped the 105 mm cloud type wheels. There is also a slight difference in the outline shapes of the boards. Possway told me other than the wheel and slight board shape change, there are no other differences. The current T2 price is $469 USD and the T3 is $499 USD.
Both boards are offered in a wheel combo package. Each comes with both the same 90 mm wheels and the 105 mm wheels. Now both boards are the same except for the slight difference in the outline of the boards. The T2 package is $559 and the T3 package is $555. Right now the T2 package has a special additional $50 off promotion netting to $509.
The 105 wheels are a better choice for beginners. It effectively provides higher gearing so there is slightly less punch on takeoff and the larger size means the board is less likely to come to an abrupt stop when hitting small objects.
There was a prior version of the T2 before the introduction of the T2 (2022). It had a different battery and smaller motors.

My Meepo Hurricane is supposed to get up to 37 miles on a charge but I get around 25-27 miles - thats not bad but I'm waiting for an actual range of 40-50 miles so I can go out and RIDE! - if only I could carry a second battery and switch when one runs out of juice - A pair of replaceable 20-25-mile batteries would be great. Longboards dont turn like shortboards, they're like long canoes, turning on a dime isn't gonna happen. Yeah, my MH is 34 lbs, its a bitch to lug around, it's all battery... but ah just loves it!!!

I KNOW i'll be bouncin' off the pavement at some point - I'd just as soon be ready for when it happens. They sell literal carbon fiber skeletons from the waist to collarbone - down past the elbows to the wrist, & then have padded draws (extra Coccyx/tailbone precautions taken)
I'm 100% certain it'd look like your blazin down the street with an entire diaper full of dook - but that's a price i'monna be very willing to pay to not leave a progressive skidmark of my ass flesh down the street as I'm dragged by an out of control over powered skateboard made for men half my age.
Might be a fun way to go.
I should probably start price comparing life insurance now.,,,, You sell this thing....? (prolly skinned an EASY coolThree amigos of hunskies i'd bet!
I can't even find one worth owning for less tha $6 bills used - & the one I want to DIY - is $3600 IN PARTS FFS (AND that's if i melt/weld the damn battery pack myself - which i should NOT be legally allowed to do)
LMK ifya still got this thang - OR - the next one you get - lemme try to buy it off ya post review - should you choosee to sell it.
I need one - maybe i'll go viral self immolating on a spacedeck. (That latest scooter you reviewed looked fkn cool as hell - I hope you & the missus are actually continuing to ride together - I'd love to have alady I could do stuff like that with man.
    Hope you're feeling good brother.
I'm almost set to start postin vids! You'll have to watcch a few & harass my dumb ass in the comments!
(You consider takin up ggolf yet - you oughta - & tekll yer friends - you know a guy with a channel that's a savant of a teacher - like Mr Miyagi - but with Golf

Again cool - but for this sort of footage don't you think it would be better with a drone following you? If the lattest DJI Mini 3 will follow you? Also might eliminate the need in general for a zoom - you take the camera "to" the object rather than have to zoom in on it. Not. always going to work - birds might attack it, but that could be some fun / good footage? :)

Quick question what's the difference between the t3 and the 2T version

    • @bruceh3786
      @bruceh3786 2 роки тому +1

Here is a copy of a reply I posted to another comment ....

Oh and in this case those wheels aren't tires.
Pro mode is likely the same speed or faster than hi but not slower but it likely has better quicker acceleration.
