Hello 👋 Paul, I must say that I have a nephew who is a contractor and I watched/helped him remodel my sisters house and he put the replacement windows in exactly the same way and I remember at the time wondering if it was being done correctly. I really am excited for you about the progress you’ve made and are making. Just for a piece of mind, we had to have replacement windows put in our house and garage and that was over $13k that we’re still in debt with. Congratulations on having the skills and the youth to be able to get it done yourself. Keep up with the mantra “slowly slowly” and the work will be more rewarding and the end result will be so much better 👍💪🙌🙏🌈✌️🐽🐷🐖blessings to you and your family in the coming year
Looking good guys! Paul, I especially liked the joy you expressed on your second window. I can certainly relate to that feeling. Good job raising the rollers on your cut off saw...lol.
You finally got some of your windows, yay! One step closer to making that house a real home! And don't feel you need to defend yourself to us -- you know what you're doing and too many of us viewers don't. You do you, brother. Btw, are y'all going to be painting the outside, eventually?
The original part of the house did not have insulated floors, and it would be very difficult to get under there and do it ourselves so we elected to keep it the same as the rest of the house and focus on insulating the walls and ceiling properly in addition to adding skirting when we are all finished. 😊

The windows look amazing. Not only are they presumably a bit cheaper? that size is so much easier to install single handedly. Fantastic job.
Thank you so much! Yes, they were definitely easier to install!

We're really happy with how they turned out! Thank you!

Thank you so much! Possibly, either painting or wrapping the barn in metal
hi, take your labels off windows,or the sun well dry them out, and it well be harder to remove.
Yep! We did! Thank you!
💚
What is the black stuff you put around the window opening called? Is it sticky?
Flashing tape! Very sticky! If it happens to stick to itself then it is about impossible to get apart
Don’t you put insulation under the floor boards?
