Greatest DT of all time...what other DT moved as he did, speed like he had, and got MULTIPLE pick sixes, stuffing the run, caused fumbles, and hunted QBs with precision 🤔 who else did it like him?
@@leetusproductions Hell yeah! This is the first season in years I am genuinely optimistic about. Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Shaquil Barrett and Lavonte Davis with new signings Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski gonna bring the Lombardi trophy back to Tampa. 🤞
It's crazy to me how much people forgot about him. Growing up ot hit different how he could take games over. And how athletic he was for a 300 pounder. He was a bully amongst grown men. That buccaneers team woth alstott was the last of football how it was meant to be played. I'm blessed to have been able to see the game how ots supposed to be played. Physical, going to war every single play. RIP football
Just ferocious! I've been watching football for around 40 years but have never played it and am no expert, just a fan who likes it. That said, there are players that when I watch them, what I think of is "intensity", and Sapp is near the top. I have never seen my favorite sack that he got on any of these vids, maybe it wasn't a big deal but I thought it was amazing - later in his time with the Bucs, he got to Kurt Warner and with one hand on the front-top of Warner's jersey, put him flat on the ground in about a half second (like a front facing horse collar) - with ONE hand. I'm sure others reading here who know a lot more than I do could add many other names but I'll mention some players I also put in that "intensity group" - possibly #1 for me would be LawrenceTaylor, then in no order, Troy Polamalu, Rodney Harrison, Ray Lewis, Hines Ward, Steve Smith and John Lynch. There are a zillion other great or even extraordinary players that I don't think of as intense, so it's not a put down (for instance, I didn't see Jerry Rice or Walter Payton as "intense", and they are some of the best who ever lived - the point being that I am not putting down any player). That said, my fave players are Barry Sanders (#1), Lawrence Taylor, Randy Moss (the guy was unreal, an alien), Brady (slag all you want), Sapp of course, Ed Reed, Gronk, Favre, Bruce Smith, Brian Urlacher and for no real reason, I also like watching the big guys play, like Keith Traylor, Ted Washington, Vince Wilfork, etc.
Man great footage of a beast at his best great memories watching Warren sapp play I enjoyed watching Tampa Bay play you got to be from Florida to understand how we get down on that Gridiron
Sapp and Brooks were as lethal a tandem defensively that has ever played in that National Football League. I feel like with the Gruden thing and some of Warren's alleged off the field transgressions, they don't get the credit they deserve but I saw what I saw & they were Primal.
Lmfao crazy how he a coach now it’s probably more of a blessing cus bro forsure gonna produce savages 🤣💯💯💯💯 just in case y’all haven’t kept up wit Colorado man everyone getting sacks and that’s nuts
Hell yeah, dude. That is all. Edit: 2:20 don't think it gets much better than that. My 160 pound frame lives vicariously through late 90s early 00s Warren Sapp.
He was so dominant for a good 5 or 6 year stretch ! I'd say the greatest all around defensive tackle in league history. He was a weapon on defense that's a fact and offenses feared him especially the cry baby Marshall Faulk lmfao on the body slam.
We are truly creatures of the moment. All the talk is aaron donald as possible greatest defensive tackle all time. Well, what about sapp? Isn't this proof that sapp is as great as aaron donald?
Favre had nothing but respect for Sapp when Sapp fucked up his o lineman on a kinda bs rather unnecessary cheap-ish shot. Favre said "now that's how a real man plays football right there"
The NFL talent from 2021 moving forward is pure garbage!! It’s like watching Arena or XFL football 🏈. There will never be football like the 90s-2019ish.
Has to be one of the best all time DT.
*Jalen Carter
That’s a fact
Top 5
And now hes the coach of The DT at Colorado State with Deion 😂
@@Rasean1992lmao gotta Put on Fa West Orlando nie 💯
What a menace
What an absolute menace
Man I miss 90’s- early 2000s football. John madden calling the game. Just classic. Took me back to childhood.
i was always amazed at how quick and explosive he was at 300 lbs, i mean ive seen this dude dunk a basketball,,,
Dude was so quick off the LOS its insane.
The big dudes back then we're fast as fuck
The definition of what it means to have a MOTOR.
Sapp was an absolute force in those trenches.
Farve hated to see this man coming 😂
Love this Guy energy n how he played the game
CU Buffs are blessed to have them!
Was a Dominant DT for us for many years, glad he was a BUC #FloridaBoy #99 #HOFER
That speed & agility for man his size is just frightening.
Warren Sapp is something else!!
Greatest DT of all time...what other DT moved as he did, speed like he had, and got MULTIPLE pick sixes, stuffing the run, caused fumbles, and hunted QBs with precision 🤔 who else did it like him?
I think I’d rather have Aaron Donald
@@David-eh3ht I'd rather have them both 😂😂😂
@@kevinibin83 wouldn’t mind that 👍😂😂
Aaron Donald was a monster, prime Sapp is in that class.
Vince Wilfork was a great DT a true run stopper but I will admit Sapp was my boy growing up tho lol
His level of athleticism at his position was so rare, Warren's was. He had great speed.
Now this was football
The reason I became a Bucs fan, dude was a powerhouse and so entertaining to watch! Great video fella, brought back a lot of great memories
thank you and go bucs!

Rare breed of strength, leverage, closing speed and just a nasty attitude my person favorite dt of all time with John Randle coming in a close second
My favorite D linemen
Can almost hear those chants in Ray-jay yellin' "WAAAAARRREEEENNN!!!!! WAAAAARRREEEEENNN!!!!"
Top 6 buc of all time. Vita Vea needs to watch this video. This is the punch you in the face the team is missing right now.

100%
Hall of famer no doubt
Yeah he's been in for a while
crazy that he is now the DL coach for Colorado and the DL is sooo much better this year!
Bucs fan in Packer territory. Their fans missed the rivalry between Sapp and Favre after the realignment, but were probably glad on some level.
It was great to watch. Football is not like that anymore and I’m glad I got to see it.
My first time going to Florida I stopped at D’arbys (Carl’s Jr if you’re from Cali) then the Buccaneers Stadium 🏟 great player salute to Warren Sapp
Dude swim move was amazing!!

Beast! Show his plays on offense too. No one could get the crowd on our feet faster. Remember him and Rice together? You can’t double team everybody!

He was a real grizzly bear Man!
The Goat 🐐
3:06 just in case you ain’t think sapp was a dog bro gonna show you he is 🤣💯
Colorado Buffs staff here we come
I didn't know he was a tight-end first! Explains those good hands and his motor. Watching this clip now, He was even stronger than advertised. 😮😮
Great video, thank you!
On my GOAT Defensive starting lineup.
Hell yeah, dude. That is all.
Edit: 2:20 don't think it gets much better than that. My 160 pound frame lives vicariously through late 90s early 00s Warren Sapp.
He was a beast.
We forget how fast Warren was he was a downhill player. Deceptive speed for his size 1st ballot HOF in my book.
yes i believe he was a first ballot HOF'er. He went in years ago
Goodness, it took me to watch these highlights to realize what an impact he had on the field.
Strong & fast. 💪🏈
keep up the good work
Colorado got a monster on their staff! 🦬🔥
Straight Savage. I can't wait until the season starts. 😎😎
Bro he’d literally get flagged on maybe half these plays today
In the beginning, for me, there was 99 and 40.
And Lynch a couple years before that. I remember 93 and 94 not having much to look forward to besides Lynch.
Colorado Buffs defensive line coach brought me here
❤oh i remember warren oh yea
He was so dominant for a good 5 or 6 year stretch ! I'd say the greatest all around defensive tackle in league history. He was a weapon on defense that's a fact and offenses feared him especially the cry baby Marshall Faulk lmfao on the body slam.
Who’s immediately going to Warren Sapp highlights after this?
That's back when you could sack the QB and not get a flag
And you could drill them! Warner used to get it good after the refs cost us the 1999 championship. Look at how hard they would hit him.
These days if you LOOK at the QB you get a flag
Those are amazing stats for a defensive tackle that only played 8 seasons
Before Aaron Donald there was this man right here
Dude how many time did he sack favre???
He’s coaching with prime !!
And doing a great job. That defensive line will dominate this year.😎😎
Imagine Sapp in todays game
He'd be ejected. The NFL is soft😂😂😂
@2:07 is how I want to see him after his boys at Colorado start sacking quarterbacks💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
😮😮😮damn 😮😮😮

Well, what about sapp?
Isn't this proof that sapp is as great as aaron donald?
One word AGILE
He was a bad MF! Top 2 defensive tackles all time. Him and Mean Joe Greene💯
How many sack fumbles did my mans get on Brett Favre??
Gruden put him in on offense too! Anybody remember?
Goatch Sapp
Summerall and Madden never disappointed! Btw the Eagles passed Sapp for Mike Mamula! Smmfh
USUALLY BY NOW I WOULD HAVE FULLY DONE A FLY BY.. BUT HAVE NOT IN A LONG WHILE..
APK all day!!!!!!
Financial acumen excluded Sapp one of the greatest d tackles ever
And he's our coach in Colorado 😎
Favre & Sapp had a special relationship...a unique combination of professional respect and total dislike for one another.
Favre had nothing but respect for Sapp when Sapp fucked up his o lineman on a kinda bs rather unnecessary cheap-ish shot. Favre said "now that's how a real man plays football right there"
Just kidding tho. Favre never said that. He prolly lost a bit of respect for him after that. I'd hope. Just a little though. Not all
Daaamn OG SAPP WAS NOTHING NICE 😂😂😂😂 A BEAST AT DT
Sapp is the 2nd coming of LT
Brett's nightmare 😂😂
Sad thing is in 2024 these will be hip drop tackles.
All that and you left out the hit on Chad Clifton???
What a different kindof animal warren sap was. Similar to ray Lewis.
Imagine prime Sapp and prime Ray Lewis on the same team lol
He injured jerry Rice, dragged him down,, I love Warren Sapp, but that was not cool tho'
this dudes cousin is my teacher
3:04 like it was WWE scripted
John Randle
SKOBUFFS
Jordan Davis is warren sapp 2.0
hell no
Jordan Davis isn’t 1/2 the player sapp was. Aaron donald and John randle are the only players close.
Greatest DT of all time Warren Sapp? There is a guy named Aaron Donald that has claim to that title!
I’m here as a Colorado Fan 🦬🏈 #LetsGoCUBuffs
Either
Brett favre worse nightmare
The NFL talent from 2021 moving forward is pure garbage!! It’s like watching Arena or XFL football 🏈. There will never be football like the 90s-2019ish.
Think how great he could have been if he lost 40 pounds lol
He got down to 276ish. And he did not play well that year untill he put on some weight.
