Ruff is not a great coach anymore and last year during their great run they had Andrew Brunette behind the bench as an assistant, who ultimately departed to go and coach the Preds. This year no Brunette in NJ and the team tanks but the Preds thrive with a new coach, coincidence?
Easy fix for your ticket scalp on one game boys - register it like air plane tickets. The person who buys has to register the guests that are attending at the time. Then upon entry, you have to show id. It takes a little longer to get in and it's more work to process but for 1 game a year, it'll get the desired result.
