He's so sweet for taking the time to do all of these. It just hit me that this kind of interaction can be very scary. You have a bunch of strangers waiting for you outside, hugging you, touching you in the middle of a pandemic too. I would be stressed out. You just never know, a deranged person could be there waiting with a knife or something... Kudos to him anyways !
If you look at the red carpet event for 'The King' at the 76th Venice Film Festival, the crowds were screaming for Timothee Chalamet, but look closely at what the security were actually doing whilst Timothee went to meet the crowd. They were being super careful and did their job absolutely superbly. For example, if anyone put their hand around Timothee, security immediately pulled them off. Any pens that were going to be used for signing autographs ... security made sure that the blunt end of the pen was pointing towards Timothee and not the sharp end. They were also standing very close to Timothee whilst he was signing and taking selfies with the crowds. It's a fascinating piece of video if you haven't seen it already.
That idea of like oppressive fans is the story for one of Alice Osemans books (Alice is the author of heartstopper) it’s called “I was born for this” I really liked it! Would recommend ❤️

I love when he's asked but some host "how did you get to the theatre?'' and he says "I walked, from my parents place, it's only 10 blocks from here. He still uses the subway. He's always happy to pose for photos and sign a piece of scrap paper. He, like young Kit, are both humble. I doubt that either nick or timy think of themselves as objects of sexual desier.

Looks like the BFI - British Film Institute - on the South Bank in London. Wish I’d known about it, I would have been there trying to get a selfie! Wonder where he & Joe will be next? Tho’ with A-Levels about to start I’m amazed he’s out and about at all!

@@hannahms3029 - ah ok. He did say in the Radio Times podcast (where he is interviewed at the BFI in this video above) that he was studying Russian Political History as part of his History studies. Also interestingly he said that 'Notting Hill' is one of his all-time favourite films. That's also one of MY all-time favourites as well. He also said that he had a huge crush on Hugh Grant at the time, which is ........ interesting!!😉
Kit is so cute taking the time and space to get up close and interact with the fans, he's beautiful, I mean he's so sweet and caring, he's not a show off at all. Honestly, if I could be close to an artist like that, to take a picture of myself, I could not put my hand on his shoulder or back, we all like to have our space and sometimes physical contact with strangers is not to our liking and is usually very uncomfortable. , I find it very professional on his part, but I insist to the fans that as far as possible, do not touch it, we are still in a pandemic and we know that on the street it is not that we have clean hands.

It's bound to happen when you're young, good looking, a really nice guy irl, and playing one of the leading roles in a highly popular film/tv series. Expect much bigger fan crowds next year when he's on the red carpet at the UK British National Television Awards. Surely 'Heartstopper' has to be nominated for several awards won't it? Shades of Timothee Chalamet at red carpet award ceremonies!
