Say, I received an old Marx transformer in a Marx junk lot. I plugged it up n it hums, but when I put the multimeter leads to the track terminals I go a -.01 voltage reading? When I put the test leads to the accessory terminals, it sparked? Does that mean the transformer is bad or is not working?
What type of glue do you use to glue the transformer case back together. Can you use thin super glue from bob smith industry. The case is completely cracked

JB Weld to the rescue again. Its a 'staple' in our workshop.. a bit slow to cure, but always rewards the wait. Nice clean-up👍👍🚂🚂
