I only heat my shop and have a firepit, well, and a smoker. 😆 my says, "Do you really that equipment?" Like you said before, some people just like to cut wood!! Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Keep those chains sharp my brutha. I split everything by hand with an axe. I started putting those crappy rounds as garden bed surrounds. Make whatever shape you want outa them fill it in with dirt. It’s been about 3 years now this year I had to replace a few the fall apart but I’ve noticed it does something to the beds. I think it promotes mycelium growth and I like the look.
Time to pull the recoil off the 500i and blow it out. The wood chips will plug up the cooling fins on the cylinder and the heat will shorten the life of your saw. But great example of how long it takes to do a face cord start to finish. Not just splitting.
Subject Change: Are you still happy with your Hykolity overhead lights? I am building a 36X72 Pole barn (12’ eave height) and will need lighting for that in the next few months. 36X48 will be enclosed. Billy
Good morning, Brock. It's been a while since I've seen your equipment. Looks like you've upgraded a few items. I've been thinking about upgrading my splitter, and I was admiring yours. What make and model is it? Thanks for the content. I always learn something watching!
I’m using the Easton made ultra. I also have a commercial vertical splitter. Here is the Easton made introduction video. A Super Fast Log Splitter that Doesn’t Break the Bank ua-cam.com/video/TYD8mor7-kk/v-deo.html

He cut Fire Wood for about a month and then got a really good job offer so he’s now doing a full-time job and going to school. I like the idea of him doing the Fire Wood, but I think this is a better opportunity for him
May the lord bless and protect you and cutting firewood on your homestead.

Morning! 🤠
Interesting
Howdy Brock! Looking good. That is a lot of heat lol. How has the stove been working out in your shop? Thanks for sharing 🤠
Lol, the first of the video sounded like a long-winded fart lol.
If the insurance company would let me, I'd have a wood stove in here!

If I could do a cord every day I might could get ahead . I am a fire wood hobbyist . I have some nice splitters it’s time I don’t have enough of
Hey,,,,, if you're not gonna use that PowerSplit, I'll be glad to come take it off your hands. 😎😅

I am. My building is exposed to the elements and they have been working perfectly.

Did your son cherry pick the easy wood? How that going? Doesn't seem like the hours it takes is worth the time away from studying.
He cut Fire Wood for about a month and then got a really good job offer so he’s now doing a full-time job and going to school.

What ever happened to your son wanting to start a fire wood business?
He did it for about a month and then he got an offer for a pretty good paying job and he took it
