Hi Josie!! This was very good information. I struggle with my hairlines on a LOT of my wigs. JR is the worst one for me. That grid lace front is always too shiny. And if I use any kind of powder on it, it has to be baby powder. If I use makeup, it’s even more obvious. I’ve tried everything to have to keep from trimming my lace to no avail. It really doesn’t make any sense to me either because there are brands like BT, RW, TressAllure that just “melt” and look flawless. I am finding that I terribly dislike any wigs that have the really light highlights to the hairline. I’ve ordered some blurring powder and hoping that will work for me. Great informative video!!! ❤
@@IDreamOfWigs Thank you, Missy! I’m waiting to get a good collection of different lace fronts to do a video on the differences. It’s sad when you get a wig and there’s that one thing about it that ruins the fun of it. Hopefully this video can fix the fit on a lace front. Next, we take on the look of the lace;)
@@canileaveitblank1476 LOL yes, I know but that’s the meme you’ll come across in the wig community a lot, “4-fingers” for the forehead - it’s a memory thing but people take it very literal and then their face isn’t proportional. I that helps;) Thanks for clarifying. We need more of that in the world:)
The second video of yours I’ve watched. You’re changing lives lady!! I truly appreciate both videos I’ve watched! I am subscribed and turned on all notifications. Can’t wait to watch more ❤
@@GWhite-jb2lj I’m overjoyed! Thank you for watching and dinging all the bells and whistles. I’m excited to build a community around the exciting wig adventure:)
Josie...my lace front Ignite is polking my skin as you talked about. Can I use like...Vasaline to soften the lace. I've tried different positions as you suggested, but is still stiff. Any suggestions? Thanks Julie
@@julieannmahoney I’m sorry to hear that. I know how uncomfortable that can be. Without a live conference or several pics, it’s hard to say if there is a problem with the cap or the fit. I can tell you that the lace is a plastic fabric and the only thing that will soften it is heat. Heat will melt the lace and restructure it. If you take a warm hair dryer to it, while wearing it, you might be able to get it to adjust but you’d have to be extremely careful not to melt the hair fibers. And you would have to wear until it’s completely cool and set solid again. I’m not sure if you could get it hot enough without being too hot for your skin. There’s also a possibility you could cut it and stitch the edges to fit but i wouldn’t risk that unless I knew it was a construction issue;) If you want to do a live consultation, I have a 15 minute fix available on my website AgingIntoBeauty.net I hope you find a solution. Thank you for being here.
I hope this brings peace to my wig sisters:) If you have other issues you’d like me to discuss, please leave me a comment.

Such helpful tip!💞
@@MrsBCurious Thank you. And thank you for being here:)
But, it’s forehead, not fourhead. The name forehead is because it’s the fore most part of the head - hence, forehead.
❤️🍀
Great info - subbed
