In the books there are more appetizing dishes.
This should be the reward for the winner ; you should let them decide one of the foods that they really wanted to try but didn’t , and let them eat it.

The reward was good but I dont feel the losers got punished by any means. In So-cal we have so many tacos from TJ inspired that have beef tongue, brain, heart etc and they are all incredibly tasty..

To be honest, the food descriptions in the books were much better than any food shown on the show. The show is very dimly lit for me to admire any food.

(Taking time to write that the cookbook in BOTW is huge so I am choosing just one because of space, but would love to see those recipes in real life)

The punishment increases the more you lose. Here they had to take one bite for each loss. Since you have no idea what the punishment is going to be, it's best not to eat everything. This one wasn't so bad, but in past ones they've had things like one cricket for each loss...

The punishment per dish. If you eat two dishes you have to take two bites of the disgusting food at the end.
Anastasia Lotos no, that’s not the case most of the time. The punishment is in correlation with the number of bites you take. In many episodes You had to take a bite of a nasty sandwich or a bug or whatever for every dish you ate. So the less dishes you try the less bugs you have to eat
