    Peas Pulao Recipe
    Ingredients:
    1 cup of basmati rice1 cup of green peas1 onion (finely chopped)2 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)1-2 bay leaves, cinnamon stick, and cardamom2 cups of water1 tablespoon of dalda (or ghee/oil)Salt as required
    Method:
    First, soak the basmati rice in water for 30 minutes.Heat dalda in a pan and sauté the chopped onions and garlic until golden brown.Add the spices (bay leaf, cinnamon, cardamom) and fry until they release their aroma.Then add green peas and stir them well.Now add the soaked rice and mix thoroughly with the peas and spices.Pour in 2 cups of water, add salt to taste, and bring it to a boil.Lower the heat, cover the pan, and cook for 10-12 minutes until the rice is fully done.Fluff the pulao with a fork, and serve hot with raita or your favorite side dish.
