    Thanks for the info! This is just what I needed to cover my 4 acres with fire ant killer.

    Thanks for the video man! I knew there had to be a way without a boom, and this solidified it for me, thanks again

    Is that line 3/8? I got a chapin tank & want to match your setup thanks. I noticed the pump is a 1gpm & the sprayer is 2gpm. Does this mean they do not need to match up?

    Thanks for the video! Very helpful.
    I am considering this nozzle for a sprayer similar to yours.
    Question: how well does it cover the area at the first pass. I assume I will have to adjust my speed accordingly
    Would that nozzle attach directly to end of the wand by chance?
    Thanks again

      I usually try to go fast enough so that I cover the field twice before i run the sprayer tank dry. That ensures more equal coverage in my opinion. There is also times when I only want to make 1 pass, like in baby soybeans. It works great i just go slow

      My sprayer is only 1.2 GPM, I am not sure that nozzle will work for me. I will try with a plastic deflector in the original wand. What do you think?

    Did you happen to notice something traveling really fast on the back tree line at the 5:30 mark. I know this was put on a long time ago but I just saw it.

    a cheaper surfactant option is just some cheap dish soap

    Did he really say 3 quarts per 20 gallons of water ? 😳 bro chill on the chemical warfare holy smokes.

    • @EFactorOutdoors
      @EFactorOutdoors  5 років тому

      Yes that is what the instructions that come with the chemical recomemnd. Anywhere from 1 to 5 quarts per acre depending on the species of plant you are trying to kill. Ive had the 3 quarts per acre mix not even kill everything. In fact this year i had to spray again after 2 weeks because some weed species survived.

      Maybe you just said it different in the video. That ratio was a gallon of round up to 20 gallons of water essentially. Typical rates are 1 1/2 ounces per gallon which would be 25-30 ounces per tank. If you spray that concentrated you’ll struggle getting it to leech n grow your target crop. Plus it’s hard on everything. ESP wallet n micro organisms. You eat the deer that ate the clover that was sprayed with proven cancer juice. Just take a second n evaluate that. I’m all bout all our tools we have to combat a successful
      Plot. But I won’t risk my health.

      @@Gixzer04 i use about 2.5 ounces per gallon. calls for 1-2oz but sometimes i have tough weeds. he could be using something that requires a stronger mix. most decent commercial is 3oz per gallon max

      You really need to wear protective gear when using roundup it's lethal, gloves, mask..

    Id say that spray more like 25' or 30'...

    • @EFactorOutdoors
      @EFactorOutdoors  6 років тому

      Id say its 20+ but not 30’. if you did this with a larger pump like 2.0 gpm i bet it would hit 30’ easy.

  • @honkymonkey9568

    This is stupid. Just keep the wand on it and set it to the constant flow position and attach it to the rear. DIY? LOL

    • @EFactorOutdoors
      @EFactorOutdoors  5 років тому +5

      That would only cover a 4' wide path and would not put out nearly the volume of liquid. Good luck with that buddy. Do it yourself means you modify or make something instead of buying it. You let me know where I can buy a sprayer for $130 that covers an 18' wide path.

    • @honkymonkey9568

      @@EFactorOutdoors The "amount of liquid" or volume is not determined by the spray head, but by the pump. The spray head only affects the pattern and the wand already comes with optional head replacements.
