@David Struyk I agree about not being deceived but Nate is absolutely talking about Jesus from the Bible. He's very direct, firm and faithful, and shares a lot of truth about the Gospel without "sugarcoating" stuff, and never holds back about sharing. It's not just with his Instagram but he genuinely shows it with his actions. Also, based on what I know or observed, he got more intimate and firm in his faith after the show.

I love how he said people like to skip over the first commandment because it is the hardest so they decide to just love people. But we are called to Love God with all our heart, all our soul, and all our strength first. Good stuff.

And secondly he most likely is not homophobic or Islamophobic, its just whenever someone says that they don't agree with something, for example being in the LGBT community, they get accused of hating people, and that's just not true alot of the time. You can disagree with someone, and not want to live the same lifestyle as them, and not hate them.

@@jesusistheonlyway2636 maybe she doesn’t mean it because she’s idolizing him, maybe it’s because Nate is the only one in her life who preaches the Bible in this good way and inspires her with his love for Jesus. People have influence on us, when we are in a group with people who are so consumed with this life and are away from God it’s easy to get lost. And Nate is that positive influence that brings her focus back to where it should be.
This popped up in my recommended and well I had no idea he was a christian!! I watched VD and TO while I was a christian , still figuring it all out having not fully surrendered , and thought he was such a great actor..I just love seeing celebrities give their hearts to Jesus when its authentic and true. I was 5 years of chronic illness! I was Semi Housebound, lost my health, job, finances and my fiance left me. I couldn't even look at electronic screen for 5 minutes, or hold a 10-minute conversation.
But God did an amazing work.
I now have a Christian Channel where I encourage people and show them what God did in my life and that there is hope for you also. ✝️🔥😊

There is an absolute calming feeling by indulging in the Bible and fully meditating in the word. Its the balm of the spirit at the same time the blueprint of the journey with Christ.
I have recently started following Nate and the 1st post I came across was quite a revelation for me and urged me to read more of what he shares and encouraging me to also delve deep into the Bible and learn more on the word. It has been nothing short of a blessing and I literally am hungry and entrigued to read and understand and apply it in my life and this is a first in my life and the way I understand each verse I read is so different now than before. I try daily to dedicate time to read the Bible and truthfully, it really has been a healing balm in my life and spirit and the revelations of the meaning is truly a blessing.

I have been following Nate for a while now on instagram (because of the content he shares but never actually payed attention that he is an actor too). Today i was randomly recommended this video on youtube and I clicked on it. And 20 minutes in and I realize this is the same guy I have been following on instram and the same guy that was acting in the TVD. I literally finished watching TVD 2 months ago. I am in shock of this small coincidence. Good stuff

I clicked cause I wanted to see which vampire diaries actor was a Christian, but stayed for his testimony. He makes some amazing points about Christian life and how it isn't easy to understand Jesus word because of our lack of historical context, and how important it is to read the bible. I liked how his advice was concrete and real and he delivered it in a way that makes sense.
