I wouldn't call Two Towers and Empire Strikes Back sequels. Although they are both the second movie, they are both absolutely necessary for their respective trilogies and they were continuing an unfinished story.
@@brycespencer6732 maybe that point works for Empire, but calling the two towers a sequel is like calling dune part 2 a sequel or calling desolation of smaug a sequel, or chamber of secrets (to a lesser extened) as the movie is based on the same book as the first one. And for anyone one saying Fellowship and two towers are different books, they aren't. They were written as one long book that due to a post war paper shortage was split into three different books.
My biggest problem with this movie is that the story of Lucius/Hanno makes no sense. He was 12 years old when the first movie ended. A 12yo child clearly knows who he is and who his parents are. U dont forget that at this age. The story would have worked if he would have been only like lets say 5 yo. But with a 12yo, it just makes no sense. I also just have to look over and ignore some ahistorcial or simply weird stupid stuff, like them using trebuchets or reading newspapers which were discovered hundreds years later. Or those freak zombie monkeys, or a domesticated rhino which lets somebody ride it or that they have huge sharks in the colloseum. Overall i felt well entertained. Its one of those movie u can watch as entertainment but u should not think to much about it, because then u realize how many things make no sense.
I lost all respect as soon as bro said “ DR sleep “ was “one of the best films in cinema history “ a movie that had more in common with “ready player one”than “ the shining” …..
great input, get a better mic
It’s copy & paste sir.. but worse..

Fair point, but those two show that good sequels can come from planning out an entire trilogy instead of just coming up with a continuing story.

Doctor Sleep is a fantastic movie and a worthy follow up to The Shining.
Great video!
This was a bastardisation and exploitation of a classic.
They have a tendency to always give us what we don’t want.
