Mbale Tourism Potential

Eastern Uganda has heeded the government's call to put more effort into promoting tourism to raise income for the country. A group of 120 tourists, together with the Eastern Entrepreneurship and Tourism Network, are drawing attention to the fact that eastern Uganda has some attractive spots. The initiative has been flagged off with a hike up Wanale hill in Mbale district.
