After watching your video I've decided to do this for my Sonoma. You're right I can get them for $120 I wish you wouldn't shown how to hook up the heated wires.
The seat fasteners are not rusted, the factory heavily loctites them! Apply heat and they ALWAYS remove like butter. Same goes for the seatbelt fasteners.
I went and got the same seats with same controls but my wiring harness on my new seats has One large Orange wire two Small orange wires with black stripes. Two small brown wires. Two small black wires with white stripes and one large black wire. But my factory gmc Sonoma plug only has seat belt wires which are two small black wires, one With a white stripe. I first wired up only the large orange and large black to power and ground to test, And nothing happened. Then I tried wiring all the orange wires together and all the black wires together leaving the brown ones and still nothing happened.
I pulled seats from a 2002 envoy but they did not fit. Brackets are longer by about 3 inches and the power controls are different then your video. Do you know if there different versions of 2002 Envoy seats?
i know the ones in a 2000 tahoe take alot to make to work. id say hell no try something else i have the 2000 tahoe seats and I'm trying to get them to work but it's real pain so far
Thanks for this video bro!! I've sold many of these 8 way power seats how exactly did you get the driver side seat with memory to work I just need to know so it's easier in the future to remove them when there's no battery in the vehicle ?? I typically bring along a 12 volt lithium battery from my drill I know you can't just touch ground and hot and expect it to work like the passenger side will there's more too it🤔 BTW I just did a video in Jacksonville Florida where I found my first GMC Jimmy with envoy package same seats 👍 in my opinion they're nicer than the diamond edition.
That’s brilliant! Do you know if I could do the same thing to my 02 GMC Sonoma extended cab with the 60/40 split bench. Bucket seats would be really nice
Great Vid 💪😎
Haha! My 2002 ZR2 has the same Vice Grip seat option lol.

I have an 03 s10 and would love to do this upgrade

Bro... You Rock! My wifes but is going to love this upgrade! She hates the cold and totally missed our old heated seats from our old silverado.
Oh oh oh, now do s10 seats in an envoy!
Sweet video thanks for the details and good camera work

Do you know if the rear bench seats bolt right in to the back on a blazer? I found a pretty clean tb at the pick n pull
Will Chevy equinox seats work as well?
Will this work with the s10 blazer, & will the rear seat fit?
Will jimmy diamond seats work as well?

Different style envoys have different seats he didn’t say exactly what kind of envoy he got it out of that’s the problem
Which model envoy did u grab from??? Regualer envoy or envoy XL model
It looks like these may have been from a gmc Jimmy envoy edition
@@bluesteel355 it was a gmt330 Jimmy envoy, blazer/bravada heated leather seats would suffice
wont fit a 2002 envoy. only 1997-2001 envoy
Did they lean back? My biggest hate on my single cab s10 is that you can't recline at all in it
Yes they do
Too bad they don't have a back seat that fits the crew cab truck.
Do you know if they will fit my 2002 GMC Sonoma? (Second request)
Yeah they're basically the same as the S10
Great! What other seats you think are direct fit?
What fuse junction did you use?
what number fuseblock did you use
20 amp fuse
Do you know if they will fit my 2002 GMC Sonoma?
What year gmc envoy seats did u use
Shew, shiny nuts, doesn't take much to rust those seat bolts if it spent any time in winter salt.
Will the front seat of 2003 tahoe fit a 2000 s-10 LS
i know the ones in a 2000 tahoe take alot to make to work. id say hell no try something else i have the 2000 tahoe seats and I'm trying to get them to work but it's real pain so far
Good info thanks
Nice work, very clean install! What would it take to do make the memory function work?
Well those seats fit in a 91 Chevy S 10 extended cab? Sorry it was supposed to say will they fit in a 91 Chevy S 10 extended cab

Did u ever swap the seats ?
@@Awsometurtle20 No. still stock.
@@wingandhog I have 03 gmc sanoma extended cab and I am curios also
sweet direct bolt ins
Didn't fit my s10 2000
Damn dats Nice
Awesome upgrade
Curious, I only see the Envoy seats with the seat belt attached to the seat itself on the top next to the head rest.
Reccomend using your original belt anchor on the s10/sonoma. They are much more substantial.
These are from a gmc Jimmy envoy edition
@@TJDunaway Thank you for that, been looking for an answer to this question.
@@MegaOshimo no problem, you can tell because the envoy DID only come with seat belts attached to the seat itself, per the gmt360's design
Is it only 2002 gmc envoy seat that’ll just bolt right in?
1997-2001 only. 2002 will not fit
The ground wire where do you conect it ?
Just on one of the seat bolts
Nice. So 2002-2005 envoy seats fit right in huh???
no just 1997-2001 envoy. He made a mistake
Could fine 2001 envoy seats but 2005 will they work on my 2000 s10 single cab
I learned something today TY
Anyone know if they’ll go in a single cab silverado
That's what's up!
Heell yeah
Great Idea Slim Shaddy..
First
Bolt pattern is identical??
What size power wire did you use ?
It was 14 ga if I remember correctly
@@wolfpakdiesel thanks bro..appreciate it
