Oh that did make me chuckle when I saw the title of this video on my feed! I didn't expect to see my suggestion taken up, or at least not so soon! 😄 For a non-pink lover, you've got quite a few. I am mostly really surprised at how many pink shades there are in the Woody range. Thanks for making this video!
Haha! Well I hadn't put all the pencils away from doing the turquoises yet! I love the light and dusky pinks, just not the middle pinks so much, but it was very enjoyable swatching them out!
I just love seeing your collections....and they look so pretty laid out together. We don't seem to have easy access to the stability woody range here in Melbourne..would you ever consider a video covering why and when you would choose one over a standard pencil? Thank you again Helen...your channel is my absolute favourite
Loved this video, pink is my fave colour. I’m always looking for new pink pencils, I’m curious about the Stabilo ones, haven’t seen those before. Was wondering would you recommend them?
I absolutely love the Stabilo Woodys! They are very chunky, super creamy and pigmented. They're also water-soluble. You'll never get a very neat edge with them because they're so fat, but I think they're perfect for mixed media colourful mark making. I don't have lightfast info on them.
Although pinks aren’t my thing, they are so pretty! Especially the muted ones. And aren’t those Woodys fun!? I have the full set plus the 5 pastel set. I’m also liking those Creta color pencils! I may have to get those to add to my already too big collection. 🤷🏼♀️. Oh dear. 🙃.
Oh my gosh, the Woody's are brilliant! Yep, I have the full and pastel sets too! I just want to get better at more abstract and loose art, and incorporate them more!
These pencils swatches videos are very helpful thank you!
Thanks! Do you use pencils much in your work?
@@helencryer yes mostly as a lineart or for the final touch ups
Oh cool!
