I guess Discord could be considered a pretty big threat, he's the lord of chaos so with his powers he does have the ability to do almost anything really.
The only times we've canonically seen him defeated was twice with the Elements Of Harmony (which with what they are they're basically just an instant win because of harmony and friendship being the whole point of the show), and the only other time I recall is with Tirek when he was stripped of his powers unless there's anything in the comics as I've not read them just yet.
So yeah, I'd say he could've potentially been a pretty big threat, and if he's still around in the new generation then maybe he'd be a threat there since so many years would have passed without his friends and this could have lead him to go more chaotic than he was previously, of course that's just speculation so it doesn't really matter. With the nature of his powers, either way he is very strong and could definitely do a lot of harm, I think with being the Lord Of Chaos though he mainly lives for this chaos and not for particularly evil reasons which is why he was so easily turned to the Mane Six's side after seeing that Fluttershy was fine with his chaos as long as it didn't effect anyone who didnt want it.
It is interesting to think about though, what would it have been like if he was a villain for the sake of being evil? Would he have done a lot more harm had he not been doing it just for fun?

You could make it so sometimes when you kill an animal it doesn't always but sometimes dorops its skin and then you make a crafting recipe so you put sticks around the out side of the crafting table then put string in each corner then put your animal skin in the middle and that will be how you craft it it could be use full for shelter from the rain or it could be a type of raft that could sail on the water

Discord is a draconaquis or something like that. The spirit of chaos. he is a fan favorite character in the show My Little Pony (MLP) hence why he was included.
