I wonder if the throttle bodies need to remain connected via the cross tube for vacuum or running/tunning purposes......just a thought. I will check on that specifically and get back to you if I find something important, I plan on doing this delete this weekend....nice upload.
@@kingspencer7 sweet. I just pulled mine. No excess fuel in the line but let her warm up to temp then shut it down... now I wait and watch. Hopefully that does the trick!
My 848 also leaks gas from the cap, especially when I fill it up near full. I thought replacing the rubber seal and or going with the quick release would do the trick, you think this is what’s happening to my 848 as well?
Jason Fernandez probably. Won’t hurt to remove it. When I removed mine there was gas in the line from the canister to the tank. That’s how I knew mine was clogged.
@@disruptive4291 been a while. I finally moved back to Charlottesville, but I’m no longer riding the amount that I used to. I have a lot more hobbies now and riding has sort of taken a back shelf. Maybe one day I’ll start making them again, but for now I’m enjoying life and don’t feel a need to document it like I used to.
@@kingspencer7 Well if you are having fun! I own an 848 myself, I did watch your videos, and they were pretty good. Tbh you dont have to record everything, sometimes you gotta live the moment and thats it. Riding is a great hobby and recording/editing everything probably ruins it :/
Where's the big (bottom hose) on the canister connected to? I found my not connecting anywhere when I was painting the frame. If you could show me that would be great. Thanks!!
@@1msorry1 I realize that. But I just don’t have the beautiful roads up here in Massachusetts like I did in VA. I’ll be back one day. I don’t know about making videos, but I’ll be riding in VA real soon.

Hey man. Was just wondering where did u get the front signals, I been looking for those on my bike so hard to find. They look sick!!
They have been discontinued for years. Bought off amazon back in 2017 when I bought the bike. Everyone asks about them!

Mine runs like a champ after this, so I don’t think they need to be connected. At least, not according to the online write up I followed.
Did this solve your fuel out the cap assembly issue?
Yes

I was wondering, where did you put the indicators that were integrated into your mirrors? Are you just running without front indicators?
Nope, I have mirror block off plates with indicators. Check out some of my other videos and you’ll see them
What you form?

@@kingspencer7 what is the purpose of the EVAP canister anyways?
ahamed1232002 google will give you a better answer than I can. It’s for emissions.
Where did you get the rear hugger fender thing ?
eBay
Still have the bike? I'm in ma as well and might buy one tomorrow. Still recommend it?
I still have it. Moved back to Charlottesville last weekend. No longer in mass.
And it’s a fun bike. I have plenty of other videos talking about the bike. But the canister delete was a great move.
@@kingspencer7 you wont make any videos anymore?

Pretty sure it just runs to ground
Hey how is the 848 doing these days. Have not seen you on you tube for awhile
I don’t ride anymore. It sits in the garage collecting dust
What happened that you don’t ride anymore?
